Player-manager James Stevenson has now resigned from LLAMA HAPPY DAY shortly after 2 EA CUP finals in the space of 10 days. We asked the clubs most successful manager/player why? He stated “ I’m not happy anymore, I’m not happy with the work rate of some players I’m not happy that I have to make bold decisions, I want what’s best for this club but most of all I want another EA Cup win, I felt the only way to do that was to go elsewhere unfortunately. So we asked James what he meant by that? “What I’m announcing is that I’m not only stepping down as manager... I’m leaving the club to start fresh elsewhere, I know I got a formation and a way to win, I just need the players to believe in my philosophy. So can you confirm you are leaving? Yes I can, as of tonight I will no longer be a player or the manager of LLAMA HAPPY DAY. I love the fans with all my heart but they respect the problems at this club, and the only way to win this trophy is to go elsewhere and they respect that. This is goodbye for now, but who knows what the future holds. I now look to the future on my new journey, I would like to thank every player who has played under me and I won’t forget the success of the club, especially in the December-January era.

So what does this mean for LLAMA HAPPY DAY? The manager is gone, who takes over? And what players will chose to go with James on his new journey? Or will James choose himself? We will keep you updated

whale spotted in illinois river A humpback whale was spotted near Morris IL in the Illinois River today. The sighting comes just days after 2 Great White Sharks were seen frolicking in the same area. While not impossible, it does seem unlikely. It is thought that the whale may have followed the sharks as they sometimes do in the wild. The whale would of had to travel over 1250 miles to get to this location. The Marine Biologist Association will be in town for a full investigation. Until we have answers, we are asking folks to keep their pontoons and fishing boats docked.

two great white sharks found swimming in mississippi river near saint louis, missouri. While it is not entirely impossible, it is incredibly uncommon for salt water dwelling creatures to stay for lengthy periods of time in fresh water. However, two Great White Sharks have managed to survive the trip and make their way up the Mississippi River somehow. Believed to have started as a mating couple, the two are assumed to have swam the 920 mile journey from the mouth of the Mississippi River that is connected to the Gulf Of Mexico. Officials in Saint Louis have contacted the Missouri Conservation Department and will likely have a team in the river soon to capture the two lost sharks.
