After two long, gruelling months, the Shadows have finally secured the EA Cup. In a hard hitting final match, the Shadows faced RhinoKET in a 3-2 winner, after the KET hit the bar multiple times. The shocker, however, came at the final goal. Kaiden Kalia was poised to score, but a defender stole that chance, and club manager James Stevenson thought it was over. But Kalia wouldn’t let the guy stand. Taking him down in the box, out of sight of the referee, the ball was free for Stevenson to swoop in and score the final goal in what would amount to the Shadows first EA Cup. The Shadows then celebrated harder than they ever had, and Jason Wallman (the only person to not sign with the Shadows after the Llamas fell into administration) had to sit on the sidelines and watch his former teammates bring home the trophy he had fought so hard for in the llamas final days. Kaiden Kalia stood with his head held high, holding that godforsaken cup as if it was his first born. Nathan Smallcalder laminates on the Shadows success, with a simple statement of “we did good”. Nathan was signed prior to this cup run, only making the team before the round of sixteen game, but all teammates believe if it hadn’t been for his signing, they probably wouldn’t have won. Kaiden Kalia had an emotional speech after the match, saying “we’ve fought so hard for this and it feels so good to have this motherfucking dream finally come true after all the shit we’ve been put through”. His advocate was forced to pay swear tax as a result of the interview with Mr Kalia. Club manager James Stevenson is expected to make his own statement later tonight

whale spotted in illinois river A humpback whale was spotted near Morris IL in the Illinois River today. The sighting comes just days after 2 Great White Sharks were seen frolicking in the same area. While not impossible, it does seem unlikely. It is thought that the whale may have followed the sharks as they sometimes do in the wild. The whale would of had to travel over 1250 miles to get to this location. The Marine Biologist Association will be in town for a full investigation. Until we have answers, we are asking folks to keep their pontoons and fishing boats docked.

two great white sharks found swimming in mississippi river near saint louis, missouri. While it is not entirely impossible, it is incredibly uncommon for salt water dwelling creatures to stay for lengthy periods of time in fresh water. However, two Great White Sharks have managed to survive the trip and make their way up the Mississippi River somehow. Believed to have started as a mating couple, the two are assumed to have swam the 920 mile journey from the mouth of the Mississippi River that is connected to the Gulf Of Mexico. Officials in Saint Louis have contacted the Missouri Conservation Department and will likely have a team in the river soon to capture the two lost sharks.
