QPR to hire Mark Hughes as new Club Finance Director

Championship Football Club Queens Park Rangers have approached Mark Hughes in a desperate bid to get him back to West London as their new Club Finance Director.

Hughes, only hours ago, was sacked by Premier League outfit Southampton FC after only eight months in charge at the club due to a run of poor performances.

QPR are currently in a precarious position of needing to get their Player wages in order due to Financial Fair Play restrictions imposed by the FA this season and the Board see Mark Hughes as the ideal candidate to work closely with staff to get the club's books back in order.

"Mark is a smart man when it comes to spending money and did an outstanding job as manager when he was our Gaffer here back in 2012" QPR Chairman Amit Bhatia told media.
"We need to limit our spending and we know Mark is the man we can trust to keep this all under control. I'm sure QPR fans will welcome him with warm open arms."
