Dynasty: S2 spoilers, Returning Characters, New Storylines, Deaths & S3?

The CW show 'Dynasty' premiered in October 2017 with an explosive first season. After the finale episode of season one which aired on May 11th 2018, the show then got renewed for a second season on May 12th 2018. As we already know, Nathalie Kelly who played Crystal Flores left the show in the final episode of season one and then a new Crystal played by Anna Brenda was introduced on the season two premiere. 'Dynasty' season two has been renewed for 22 episodes & so far we are only only on episode nine meaning we've only got two weeks left before the mid-season finale, which actress Liz Gilles who plays Fallon Carrington has assured fans that it'll be the most explosive, deadly & dramatic episode to date.
As fans have been watching the second season, they've also noticed that a person has been missing... Steven Carrington. He left the show on episode six "Queen Of Cups" to peruse a career in building houses in South America, and according to actor James he said on an interview with 'The QA' that "yeah, I have officially left the show. It was my decision because I am super busy at the moment in my real life, you know I am moving house from Florida to New York, I am getting married in early spring 2019, which Sam wouldn't like (haha), I am also trying to take time off to relax in the middle of everything so life is just crazy at the moment, so it was just right that I got written out of the show." Aside from Steven leaving the show, the old Crystal who left in the season one finale, also had an interview with 'The QA' last Friday and said "I totally miss Dynasty, the people, the show, the sets. But I love watching it from a viewers perspective now & I also love the new actress who is playing another Crystal. But yeah, ever since I left fans have been hoping that I will come back & even though Crystal apparently died, this is Dynasty, anything could happen. I am also moving houses from Miami up to Atlanta with my Husband & thats where the show is filmed so I mean, I could possibly come back, that would be an awesome plot twist right."
However, adding to the speculation that she could possibly be returning, Nathalie was posting Instagram stories a few days ago with the cast of Dynasty and she appears to have also been on the set. So could we see a Crystal Flores return sooner than we think?
However, back onto the topic of the mid-season finale, many actors from the show have been on various interviews giving some spoilers about the episode. Here are some spoilers about 2x11: the truth will come out about Hank not being Alexis's and Blake's supposed Son "Adam", also the truth about Claudia's baby and the fact that Alexis swapped it for the baby in the manger will come out. The mid-season finale will also see the wedding of Fallon & Cullhane commence, however, things don't go to plan when an unexpected guest leaves everyone at the wedding in shock. Liam and Fallon show more feelings toward each other which gives Fallon an ultimatum between Liam and Cullahne. The actress who plays Claudia has also announced her departure from Dynasty, as she is expecting her first child in late 2019. She said in an Instagram post "Claudia has been such an amazing character to play and I cannot thank you guys enough for letting me bring her to life. She will always be apart of me, except the crazy part. However, she isn't going without a crazy fight, tune into Dynasty's mid-season finale (2x11) to see how Claudia's story ends. Love You All !!" Most fans have suspected that Claudia will die once the truth about her baby is revealed & fans have also suspected that maybe the old Crystal is the one unexpected guest who turns up at the wedding and she gets revenge on Claudia which will lead to her death. The mid-season finale is set to air on 'The CW' on December 28th at 8/7c, and this will also be a special 90 minute (1 and a half hour) episode.
Going back to James's character Steven, he also teased on the interview with 'The QA' that "even thought I'll be leaving the show, it doesn't mean forever. By February 2019, I will have sorted out my house and my wedding, which is also a month before Dynasty ends. I was never leaving forever, I only wanted to take a bit of time away from the show. I won't be on the rest of the second season, however, I will definitely be returning at some point whether that be the season two finale or maybe season three. We'll see what happens." This also perfectly leads me on to the possible third season of Dynasty.
The shows ratings and viewings have been increasing by hundreds of thousands every episode, this means that more and more people are starting to watch the show. Usually when a show gains this much popularity, it's a sign that a renew is coming right around the corner and that's no different for Dynasty. With actor James teasing about a possible season three, the official CW page has listed Dynasty as one of their shows that are getting renewed and the official Dynasty social pages have also teased at a possible season three coming by putting in their bio's 'The drama just keeps on coming. See you TWICE in 2019 for everything to unfold.' The 'twice' could mean the second part of season two (2B) premiering in late January & the second time could be for season three, maybe premiering in late 2019. Shows usually find out if they're renewed the day after their season finale has aired, so although it isn't official yet that we're getting a season three, we'll know sometime in mid March 2019. If Dynasty does get renewed for a third season it will be airing around October 2019.. so get ready !!!

whale spotted in illinois river A humpback whale was spotted near Morris IL in the Illinois River today. The sighting comes just days after 2 Great White Sharks were seen frolicking in the same area. While not impossible, it does seem unlikely. It is thought that the whale may have followed the sharks as they sometimes do in the wild. The whale would of had to travel over 1250 miles to get to this location. The Marine Biologist Association will be in town for a full investigation. Until we have answers, we are asking folks to keep their pontoons and fishing boats docked.

two great white sharks found swimming in mississippi river near saint louis, missouri. While it is not entirely impossible, it is incredibly uncommon for salt water dwelling creatures to stay for lengthy periods of time in fresh water. However, two Great White Sharks have managed to survive the trip and make their way up the Mississippi River somehow. Believed to have started as a mating couple, the two are assumed to have swam the 920 mile journey from the mouth of the Mississippi River that is connected to the Gulf Of Mexico. Officials in Saint Louis have contacted the Missouri Conservation Department and will likely have a team in the river soon to capture the two lost sharks.
