It finally has happened. The fast growing PotatoTV website for non humans has finally reached the number, and has hit it’s 1 year birthday! To show ya’ll how far we have come, let’s start by going back to November of 2017. We have just met the Internet Frog, who has registered many websites, including LettuceBlox.

Just later on December 29th, the Internet Frog registered the website, as pretty much a gray screen, with some text on it, saying PotatoTelevision, the future of Videos.

We head to mid January, and the first user was created, called dn. Now at this point, there was just a login page and a forum, that forum would be deleted that next March.

Now on February 24th, we take it into its Beta stage, and make it public. A few days later, the 10th user, Robert Thompson joins PotatoTV, and keep in mind, that these people joined through a password guess.

On March 11, we released PotatoTV to the public, which made a gateway for many people to explore the website.

Througout the months of May - July, people came in, updates were being made, etc. But then, sometime in late July, something happened. It was broadcasted on TV, and then a big blowup happened, this is when 700 of the early users joined. This was history.

On November 18th, we hit, 1000 users. Then, a trailer was made, and it spread across the Internet, and then many users joined like never before.

We changed the layout that day, and we added a few things, people joined, and here we are today, at 100,000 users.

So you may ask, what are you guys going to do for 100,000 users? Well, it’s your pick. You get to choose what things you want to be added, and our team will vote for the best decisions, and then they will be added.

Thank you for where we are today, keep posting and watching!

whale spotted in illinois river A humpback whale was spotted near Morris IL in the Illinois River today. The sighting comes just days after 2 Great White Sharks were seen frolicking in the same area. While not impossible, it does seem unlikely. It is thought that the whale may have followed the sharks as they sometimes do in the wild. The whale would of had to travel over 1250 miles to get to this location. The Marine Biologist Association will be in town for a full investigation. Until we have answers, we are asking folks to keep their pontoons and fishing boats docked.

two great white sharks found swimming in mississippi river near saint louis, missouri. While it is not entirely impossible, it is incredibly uncommon for salt water dwelling creatures to stay for lengthy periods of time in fresh water. However, two Great White Sharks have managed to survive the trip and make their way up the Mississippi River somehow. Believed to have started as a mating couple, the two are assumed to have swam the 920 mile journey from the mouth of the Mississippi River that is connected to the Gulf Of Mexico. Officials in Saint Louis have contacted the Missouri Conservation Department and will likely have a team in the river soon to capture the two lost sharks.
