Epic games, a company mostly known by the youth for its popular game, Fortnite, has recently released a statement declaring bankruptcy.

"'Hard times came, and we were not properly prepared," Sweeney tweeted Tuesday morning. "Last assignment a total bust. We should not have rushed our new launcher so early."

Sweeney was planning the launch of several new projects to been seen in the near future. Whether or not those projects will see the light of day is still to be determined.

Though the company seemed to be going through a time of economic prosperity, in reality the company was loosing large amounts money and a rate much to fast to keep up with. There is no singular project that led to the downfall of many epic games, but many of our news specialist predict it has to do the new launcher recently released by Epic Games. Fortnite is currently available on every platform (including IOS and Android), and the addition of a new launcher would only spread their reach farther. As they would be expanding and making deals with numerous other game curators including; Unknown Worlds Entertainment and Team Meat.

This sudden rush was too much for Epic to handle, as a small reduction in their number of players launched them into a steep debt, losing over 4.7 billion dollars in just under a month.

whale spotted in illinois river A humpback whale was spotted near Morris IL in the Illinois River today. The sighting comes just days after 2 Great White Sharks were seen frolicking in the same area. While not impossible, it does seem unlikely. It is thought that the whale may have followed the sharks as they sometimes do in the wild. The whale would of had to travel over 1250 miles to get to this location. The Marine Biologist Association will be in town for a full investigation. Until we have answers, we are asking folks to keep their pontoons and fishing boats docked.

two great white sharks found swimming in mississippi river near saint louis, missouri. While it is not entirely impossible, it is incredibly uncommon for salt water dwelling creatures to stay for lengthy periods of time in fresh water. However, two Great White Sharks have managed to survive the trip and make their way up the Mississippi River somehow. Believed to have started as a mating couple, the two are assumed to have swam the 920 mile journey from the mouth of the Mississippi River that is connected to the Gulf Of Mexico. Officials in Saint Louis have contacted the Missouri Conservation Department and will likely have a team in the river soon to capture the two lost sharks.
