Kin Corn Karn, whose real name was Hironaka Yataro, was known as one of the most villainous professional wrestlers of all time. His martial arts expertise, unsettling facial expressions, and willingness to brutalize his opponents made him an international star of the squared circle from his debut in 1959 until his final match in 1994. Known as the master of the Mongolian Chop, he won more than two dozen championship titles during his 35 year career, including three different runs with the coveted VWA Heavyweight Championship.

Yataro was found in his home by his eldest son, who called 911. He was unresponsive when the EMTs arrived and was pronounced dead shortly thereafter.

According to fellow pro wrestler King Slender, "In the ring, he was a savage. He worked stiff, let me tell you. But outside the ring, he was a true gentleman, a real introspective man with a heart the size of Texas. He was already an established veteran by the time I broke into the business and he was so generous with me, always offering me advice and critiquing my work. I didn't always like what he had to say, but in the end, he was never wrong. There will never be another man like Kin Corn Karn. He will be missed."

Another of his peers, The Amazon, took to Twitter to give his thoughts on Karn's passing. "In the world of pro wrestling, there are two types of people: the givers and the takers. KCK was a giver. He gave in the wrestling ring and he gave outside of it. Nobody sold my Piranha Bite like he did. He put the move over and to this day, I credit him for making it such a feared move. I owe my success to him. A true legend and a true friend. He will not be forgotten."

whale spotted in illinois river A humpback whale was spotted near Morris IL in the Illinois River today. The sighting comes just days after 2 Great White Sharks were seen frolicking in the same area. While not impossible, it does seem unlikely. It is thought that the whale may have followed the sharks as they sometimes do in the wild. The whale would of had to travel over 1250 miles to get to this location. The Marine Biologist Association will be in town for a full investigation. Until we have answers, we are asking folks to keep their pontoons and fishing boats docked.

two great white sharks found swimming in mississippi river near saint louis, missouri. While it is not entirely impossible, it is incredibly uncommon for salt water dwelling creatures to stay for lengthy periods of time in fresh water. However, two Great White Sharks have managed to survive the trip and make their way up the Mississippi River somehow. Believed to have started as a mating couple, the two are assumed to have swam the 920 mile journey from the mouth of the Mississippi River that is connected to the Gulf Of Mexico. Officials in Saint Louis have contacted the Missouri Conservation Department and will likely have a team in the river soon to capture the two lost sharks.
