Jerry Jones can no longer ignore the Enck-Prescott connection. Doug has been Dak’s mentor since the days when Doug’s son Scott & Prescott became best friends while both attending Mississippi State. “I’ve wanted Douglas Enck all along” said Prescott, who confessed it was Doug who designed all the game plans and callled the plays during his Rookie season.

Prescott went on to say “Douglas is the man. At a visit to Mississippi State to see Scott, I saw all the girls flock to him, I knew right then that Doug was the one to take me to the next level.” “That’s why in my first year, I made the Pro-Bowl, won Rookie of the Year and we went 13-3, said Prescott. “It was all Douglas.”

Doug learned his craft at Whitmer High School in Toledo, Ohio- where a statue of him still stands in front of the school today. Rumor has it that Doug also mentored Ohio State coach Woody Hayes for years and was the one who told Woody to punch the Clemson player in the 1978 Gator Bowl. “I learned that ‘right hook’ in the Air Force,” said Enck and knew it would come in handy one day.

Doug abandoned the game plan roll the last 2 years after Jones refused to sign over 15 percent of the team ownership. Jones finally relented today and Doug actually walked away with a 25 percent ownership stake in the team and an office at The Star in Frisco.

Look for the Cowboys to be a potent circus act under Enck next year and for Doug to possibly overtake Jason Garrett as Head Coach.

whale spotted in illinois river A humpback whale was spotted near Morris IL in the Illinois River today. The sighting comes just days after 2 Great White Sharks were seen frolicking in the same area. While not impossible, it does seem unlikely. It is thought that the whale may have followed the sharks as they sometimes do in the wild. The whale would of had to travel over 1250 miles to get to this location. The Marine Biologist Association will be in town for a full investigation. Until we have answers, we are asking folks to keep their pontoons and fishing boats docked.

two great white sharks found swimming in mississippi river near saint louis, missouri. While it is not entirely impossible, it is incredibly uncommon for salt water dwelling creatures to stay for lengthy periods of time in fresh water. However, two Great White Sharks have managed to survive the trip and make their way up the Mississippi River somehow. Believed to have started as a mating couple, the two are assumed to have swam the 920 mile journey from the mouth of the Mississippi River that is connected to the Gulf Of Mexico. Officials in Saint Louis have contacted the Missouri Conservation Department and will likely have a team in the river soon to capture the two lost sharks.
