St. Ann, MO

Saint Louis County officials are asking for the public to come forward with any information they might have regarding an incident that occurred on January 9th. A woman in St. Ann says she was followed home after working the graveyard shift in the early hours of January 8th. The woman reportedly didn't think much of the incident at the time until she came home again on January 9th, when she witnessed a man partially in her window. Reports say it's not yet known what all was stolen from the house, but he did flee with the victim's pet cat and articles of personal clothing. Investigators are searching for who is described as a tanned caucasian male in his mid-20's to early 30's. He is also described as being about 6'1" and of average build. He has dark curly hair, brown eyes and a thick beard. The suspect was wearing his hair in a short ponytail or bun at the time and dark colored clothes. The victim says the suspect fled the scene in a newer light blue or gray Infinity sedan, possibly a 2015 or newer Infinity Q50 similar to the one pictured with modified wheels and louder exhaust. This incident comes just weeks after another incident in Bridgeton took place on Nov. 21st, when another woman said a male of similar description took pictures of her through her kitchen window. If you have any information regarding this incident or suspect you are asked to contact the St. Ann or Saint Louis County officials.

whale spotted in illinois river A humpback whale was spotted near Morris IL in the Illinois River today. The sighting comes just days after 2 Great White Sharks were seen frolicking in the same area. While not impossible, it does seem unlikely. It is thought that the whale may have followed the sharks as they sometimes do in the wild. The whale would of had to travel over 1250 miles to get to this location. The Marine Biologist Association will be in town for a full investigation. Until we have answers, we are asking folks to keep their pontoons and fishing boats docked.

two great white sharks found swimming in mississippi river near saint louis, missouri. While it is not entirely impossible, it is incredibly uncommon for salt water dwelling creatures to stay for lengthy periods of time in fresh water. However, two Great White Sharks have managed to survive the trip and make their way up the Mississippi River somehow. Believed to have started as a mating couple, the two are assumed to have swam the 920 mile journey from the mouth of the Mississippi River that is connected to the Gulf Of Mexico. Officials in Saint Louis have contacted the Missouri Conservation Department and will likely have a team in the river soon to capture the two lost sharks.
