Three days ago, on January 21, India man Lakshit Reddiar was swimming with his family of three at Revupolavaram beach. Suddenly, a tiger shark came out of nowhere and clamped down on Lakshit's leg as if it was a giant steak. With everyone else running away in terror, including his family, Lakshit had to deal with the shark by himself. After overcoming fear and coming to his senses, Reddiar punched the shark as it swung him around underwater. After realising the tactic didn't work, Lakshit tried to snap the tiger shark's neck. This turned out to be the move that saved the man's life, because during the process of doing the move, Lakshit shoved his fingers into the sharks gills, slowly suffocating it. With the shark unconscious, Reddiar took out his fingers and slowly pried open the shark's jaw. With his leg now free, Reddiar grabbed the shark and carried it onto the beach, dropping it on the shoreline. Shortly after, Lakshit proclaimed victory to the entire beach before quickly passing out from shock and being rushed to a hospital. During his few days in the hospital, Takshit Reddiar constantly requested to sue the shark for assault and attempted murder. Within a few days of him pestering the hospital staff for him to take the animal to court, Lakshit got his wish. After arrangements were made, the shark was sent to the courtroom in a large fish tank on top of a metal cart. Unbelievably, some people found it unfair that the shark had no lawyer and had a defense attorney hired for the shark. During the trial, Lakshit's lawyer argued that the shark should have never gone near the beach in the first place, and so that the shark was purposely attacking Takshit for unknown reasons (for the fish won't talk). The shark's lawyer brought up that the shark was just following its natural instincts, and that tiger sharks go everywhere they want to, regardless of contents in the water. The overall result of the trial was that the shark did indeed attack Takshit, but it was doing so out of its natural behavior, so the attempted murder charges were dropped and the shark was charged with assault.

whale spotted in illinois river A humpback whale was spotted near Morris IL in the Illinois River today. The sighting comes just days after 2 Great White Sharks were seen frolicking in the same area. While not impossible, it does seem unlikely. It is thought that the whale may have followed the sharks as they sometimes do in the wild. The whale would of had to travel over 1250 miles to get to this location. The Marine Biologist Association will be in town for a full investigation. Until we have answers, we are asking folks to keep their pontoons and fishing boats docked.

two great white sharks found swimming in mississippi river near saint louis, missouri. While it is not entirely impossible, it is incredibly uncommon for salt water dwelling creatures to stay for lengthy periods of time in fresh water. However, two Great White Sharks have managed to survive the trip and make their way up the Mississippi River somehow. Believed to have started as a mating couple, the two are assumed to have swam the 920 mile journey from the mouth of the Mississippi River that is connected to the Gulf Of Mexico. Officials in Saint Louis have contacted the Missouri Conservation Department and will likely have a team in the river soon to capture the two lost sharks.
