Public speaker, Hedaiah Tolbah, stands behind her Women Empowerment platform as she stands strong while many try to bring her down. She made it clear that “people are going to learn not to f*** with me in 2019.” Tolbah has made plenty of statements to describe how she’s feeling or what may be on her mind that specific moment. In a recent podcast, she stated “people say they care until they actually have to show it.” Based on another interview shortly after Tolbah’s, we met someone who was able to show that he cared!
When asked what his first impression was of Hedaiah, Witt Lowry answered “When I met her it was a very brief meeting. I honestly would’ve never guessed she has been through what she’s been through...you know...her mom passing away and having to remove a toxic person from your life that you thought loved you back you know.. I think she carries herself so beautifully.”
He proceeded to share such a lovely story with us. Please read below.
“I saw Daiah at that meet and greet then I didn’t see her for a few months but we did kinda keep in contact through social media. We always talked about seeing each other and changing the world together. After reading about her and really looking into her life and her strength I came up with a way to empathize with her. So when we agreed to meet again I told her only under one condition, she had to let me hold the door for her. So when I ended up seeing her again I held every single door she walked into. Even the bathroom door, haha. When we parted we didn’t talk for a few days. Then she texted me I think a week later to check up on me and she asked me why I was so persistent on opening all the doors for her. I knew she thought I was so weird every time I did it. So when I got the chance to explain, I took it and I let her know that I have never walked a mile in her shoes but I can see her soles are worn and her strength is torn under the weight of a story I have never lived before. So I held every door open for her because after all that she’s walked through, it was the least that I could do.”

whale spotted in illinois river A humpback whale was spotted near Morris IL in the Illinois River today. The sighting comes just days after 2 Great White Sharks were seen frolicking in the same area. While not impossible, it does seem unlikely. It is thought that the whale may have followed the sharks as they sometimes do in the wild. The whale would of had to travel over 1250 miles to get to this location. The Marine Biologist Association will be in town for a full investigation. Until we have answers, we are asking folks to keep their pontoons and fishing boats docked.

two great white sharks found swimming in mississippi river near saint louis, missouri. While it is not entirely impossible, it is incredibly uncommon for salt water dwelling creatures to stay for lengthy periods of time in fresh water. However, two Great White Sharks have managed to survive the trip and make their way up the Mississippi River somehow. Believed to have started as a mating couple, the two are assumed to have swam the 920 mile journey from the mouth of the Mississippi River that is connected to the Gulf Of Mexico. Officials in Saint Louis have contacted the Missouri Conservation Department and will likely have a team in the river soon to capture the two lost sharks.
