After approximately four days, Evelynn Cooper (from Columbus, Indiana), is reported missing.
“[We] didn't think anything of it,” says Evelynn's mother, Helen Cooper, “She's very smart. We thought she drove to visit relatives and we would get a message soon.”
It was after the first 72 hours and no messages that the parents became concerned. Now that alerts have been filed, investigations are ongoing.
Although not much has been released to the public, there has been indication that there is none to release to the public to begin with. Close loved ones give no insight as to what happened and witnesses have been minimal.
First day on the case, Robert Miller (Columbus Deputy) states, “Mrs. Cooper gave us information on a close friend, Miranda Daily, that has been visiting for some months now.”
He also further explains that Daily has reportedly been the only one interacting often with Evelynn up until her disappearance. Being the only possible witness to the disappearance, Daily may be a critical piece in finding Evelynn Cooper's whereabouts. Despite this, Daily appears to have gone missing around the same time, which raises questions on Daily's involvement.
A murder has been considered by the department, but no body has been discovered.
“I would be devastated if I find out [Daily] had anything to do with this,” says Evelynn's father, Paul Cooper during a recent interview. “I wouldn't be surprised though. She has a reputation.”
In addition to searching for the missing person, a lookout has been put out for Daily.
Police are still searching. No other lead has been discovered and no more information has been released, due to the privacy of the Cooper family and until further information can be confirmed.

whale spotted in illinois river A humpback whale was spotted near Morris IL in the Illinois River today. The sighting comes just days after 2 Great White Sharks were seen frolicking in the same area. While not impossible, it does seem unlikely. It is thought that the whale may have followed the sharks as they sometimes do in the wild. The whale would of had to travel over 1250 miles to get to this location. The Marine Biologist Association will be in town for a full investigation. Until we have answers, we are asking folks to keep their pontoons and fishing boats docked.

two great white sharks found swimming in mississippi river near saint louis, missouri. While it is not entirely impossible, it is incredibly uncommon for salt water dwelling creatures to stay for lengthy periods of time in fresh water. However, two Great White Sharks have managed to survive the trip and make their way up the Mississippi River somehow. Believed to have started as a mating couple, the two are assumed to have swam the 920 mile journey from the mouth of the Mississippi River that is connected to the Gulf Of Mexico. Officials in Saint Louis have contacted the Missouri Conservation Department and will likely have a team in the river soon to capture the two lost sharks.
