Louisville’s up and coming rising star Adam Maddox known to many as “ATM The Engineer”; is the 2nd member of Louisville’s music scene to strike a deal with apparel deal. Just a year ago, Louisville sensation Jack Harlow signed a deal with New Balance, with restrictions to only wear such during shows, videos, social media, etc. The one’s who don’t know exactly who Maddox is. Maddox is a local audio engineer who now is on track to completely open a full on record label as he currently manages 4 artist, hypeman on stages for one and, is now shooting music video for all artist. Maddox who has been nominated for KUEA awards in the state and recently a winner for the “Next one up” award at the LMA’s, Louisville Music Awards; first started at Downtown Recording on 3rd Street under Guerrila Music under Head Engineer & Studio Owner; Grammy winner Mac Atkinson. After spending time with artist and learning the game, Atkinson signs a deal with Atlantic Records; Maddox declines his own deal and started his own studio and label and has been on major success since. We sat down with Maddox and talk to him about all the success around him, “I still can’t believe it. It’s a dream that I thought would always just be a hobby and nobody would actually see the passion and want to let me free and show that it’s not just for me but I Engineer, shoot videos, manage artist, turn up at shows; to help us all succeed.” Maddox says. From what we know, he’s always been a big sneaker head and spent time employed by adidas and wearing strictly adidas and he speaks highly on Reebok as they are owned by the three stripe company. The Fila deal had us confused, “Fila is being innovated. Nobody wanted them at all, I remember getting what I thought was the coolest shoes in the world from a flea market back when I was in Middle School, they were Fila’s, I got mad fun of them but it’s all we could afford and I loved them.”, “They’re doing cool new things and I’m about that, I want to be different. I have no limits on what I can or can’t do, I’m usually behind the scenes, in a studio or behind a camera but, artist notice what I wear and that’s where they want to gain business from.”

whale spotted in illinois river A humpback whale was spotted near Morris IL in the Illinois River today. The sighting comes just days after 2 Great White Sharks were seen frolicking in the same area. While not impossible, it does seem unlikely. It is thought that the whale may have followed the sharks as they sometimes do in the wild. The whale would of had to travel over 1250 miles to get to this location. The Marine Biologist Association will be in town for a full investigation. Until we have answers, we are asking folks to keep their pontoons and fishing boats docked.

two great white sharks found swimming in mississippi river near saint louis, missouri. While it is not entirely impossible, it is incredibly uncommon for salt water dwelling creatures to stay for lengthy periods of time in fresh water. However, two Great White Sharks have managed to survive the trip and make their way up the Mississippi River somehow. Believed to have started as a mating couple, the two are assumed to have swam the 920 mile journey from the mouth of the Mississippi River that is connected to the Gulf Of Mexico. Officials in Saint Louis have contacted the Missouri Conservation Department and will likely have a team in the river soon to capture the two lost sharks.
