Brexit chaos expected for EU nationals working in UK on B-day

A Senior Minister from within the Department for Exiting the European Union (DExEU) has been caught on a hidden microphone stating that he fully expects there to be significant issues for EU nationals working in the UK on Brexit day.
The undercover reporter was interviewing Kwasi Kwarteng, a Under Secretary in DExEU, about scenarios involving EU nationals working within the UK on Brexit day that then wanted to travel back to their home countries. Kwasi is heard on the recording stating that he expects significant disruption at the UK border when any EU nationals working in the UK try to travel home as they will not have an entry stamp on their passport and as such their route into the UK cannot be assured. When pressed as to what the DExEU is doing to resolve this issue Kwasi stated that there was no legal basis or details in any international treaty that would allow a foreign national to leave a country if they had not actually recorded entry in a formal manner - in effect the persons are not in the UK so therefore they cannot leave and must be treated as illegal immigrants and detained until the UK Border Force can ascertain whether they have the right to be in the UK or not.
The minister did not want to cause panic and believes the situation will be resolved no more than a month after Brexit day but believes any EU nationals that find themselves in the UK over the transitional period - whether visiting on holiday or transiting through the UK on a work assignment should be prepared for lengthy detainment.
The undercover reporter has spoken to other ministers within the department who have corroborated this story but have not been willing to go on record due to the chaos it would cause. Lord Callanan, Minister of State, has recently been seen visiting warehouses at strategic positions for UK entry and exit ports (including airports) and the reporter has it on good authority that these are the locations that the alien EU nationals will be detained until there status is known.
Nigel Farage has recently gone on record to state that the EU nationals should expect this and should be detained for as long as it takes until there situation and trustworthiness can be determined.
Immigrant detention centres Uk wide have been placed on standby expecting a significant number of illegals to be held from returning home. This comes at an even more difficult time for the Government where 2 out of the 5 main detention facilities have been closed down due to squalid 'PoW' like conditions. The EU commissioner for Human Rights Dunja Mijatovi? has blasted this move as an absolute outrage and went on to say 'to expect decent human beings to live in such filthy, rat infested conditions, with restricted food and hygiene provision is against all human rights'. Nigel Farage responded to the Commisioners comments and was quoted 'if they want to act illegally... we will treat them illegally... it really is as simple as that'.
Senior cabinet officials refused to comment further on the issue.

whale spotted in illinois river A humpback whale was spotted near Morris IL in the Illinois River today. The sighting comes just days after 2 Great White Sharks were seen frolicking in the same area. While not impossible, it does seem unlikely. It is thought that the whale may have followed the sharks as they sometimes do in the wild. The whale would of had to travel over 1250 miles to get to this location. The Marine Biologist Association will be in town for a full investigation. two great white sharks found swimming in mississippi river near saint louis, missouri. While it is not entirely impossible, it is incredibly uncommon for salt water dwelling creatures to stay for lengthy periods of time in fresh water. However, two Great White Sharks have managed to survive the trip and make their way up the Mississippi River somehow. Believed to have started as a mating couple, the two are assumed to have swam the 920 mile journey from the mouth of the Mississippi River that is connected to the Gulf Of Mexico. Officials in Saint Louis have contacted the Missouri Conservation Department and will likely have a team in the river soon to capture the two lost sharks.
