One of EA's latest installments, 'Anthem' is under fire for the reported sudden passing over well over 11.6 million people in south korea. The game although before initial release was met with much hype and discussion slowly started to garner negative press upon release. At first becoming one of Bioware's lowest rated games and then going on to cause server issues for EA, now it seems is the catalyst for the deaths of millions. initial forensics reveal no signs of physical trauma further investigation has revealed that most died due to severe epilepsy. Anthems latest update introduces a new mission in a certain area of the map, the area in which this mission is conducted has multi colored lights scattered throughout flashing in a strobe-eque pattern. South Korea received the initial update before the rest of the regions as per EA's policy. Many of the victims were found to have have accounts to related to the game while some of them inexplicably didn't leading some investigators to believe that they made have suffered the same fate not through playing but through watching streams of other people playing. Popular live stream platform twitch is also under fire for supposedly contributing to this violent massacre, however twitch officials have yet to issue any kind of statement regarding the incident. An investigation was brought up after online comments surfaced mentioning anthem and the deaths weeks before the actual incident. With some comments being structured as

"I swear to god this game is going to kill someone"
-EAHATER699XD

"I'd rather die than play this tbh"
-DreamKazperDidNothingWrong

"I hope 11.6 million people in south Korea die after the latest update"
-Lviper

Bioware has thus far pulled the update from the Korean servers and 2 hours later stopped all server functionality all together to prevent players from logging in. Currently there are no comments from the side of EA or Bioware however lawyers representing the gaming giants have reassured us that the situation is being handled and that a statement will be issued soon.

whale spotted in illinois river A humpback whale was spotted near Morris IL in the Illinois River today. The sighting comes just days after 2 Great White Sharks were seen frolicking in the same area. While not impossible, it does seem unlikely. It is thought that the whale may have followed the sharks as they sometimes do in the wild. The whale would of had to travel over 1250 miles to get to this location. The Marine Biologist Association will be in town for a full investigation. Until we have answers, we are asking folks to keep their pontoons and fishing boats docked.

two great white sharks found swimming in mississippi river near saint louis, missouri. While it is not entirely impossible, it is incredibly uncommon for salt water dwelling creatures to stay for lengthy periods of time in fresh water. However, two Great White Sharks have managed to survive the trip and make their way up the Mississippi River somehow. Believed to have started as a mating couple, the two are assumed to have swam the 920 mile journey from the mouth of the Mississippi River that is connected to the Gulf Of Mexico. Officials in Saint Louis have contacted the Missouri Conservation Department and will likely have a team in the river soon to capture the two lost sharks.
