Singer Phil Collins, 68, had been taken into hospital from his home town of Chiswick, Middlesex. We have been informed that his family are with him after taking a turn for the worst following his head injuries from a fall last summer.

This In The Air Tonight hit maker is said to be comfortable but in a critical state with family preparing for the worst outcome.

Best known as an English drummer, singer, songwriter, multi-instrumentalist, record producer, and actor. He was the drummer and singer of the rock band Genesis, and is also a solo artist. Between 1982 and 1989, Collins scored three UK and seven US number-one singles in his solo career. When his work with Genesis, his work with other artists, as well as his solo career is totalled, Collins had more US Top 40 singles than any other artist during the 1980s.

He has recently attended the opening of his wife's, Orianne, new jewellery shop in L.A. It is said that she is with him at this current time.

The sighting comes just days after 2 Great White Sharks were seen frolicking in the same area. While not impossible, it does seem unlikely. However, two Great White Sharks have managed to survive the trip and make their way up the Mississippi River somehow. Believed to have started as a mating couple, the two are assumed to have swam the 920 mile journey from the mouth of the Mississippi River that is connected to the Gulf Of Mexico. Officials in Saint Louis have contacted the Missouri Conservation Department and will likely have a team in the river soon to capture the two lost sharks.
