Having finally decided that UFO's simply aren't interesting enough any more, eccentric musician Tom Delonge has officially reunited with his former blink-182 bandmates. The newly reformed blink-182 will go into the studio in June, and fans can expect a new album in December 2019.

Blink-182 were responsible for some of the biggest hits of the previous decade. Though their magnum opus "Enema Of The State" was released in 1999, their popularity and output continued to grow in the 2000's, culminating in the release of their self-titled album in 2003. blink have been consistently lauded as one of the most legendary pop-punk bands of all time, despite their acrimonious split in 2005. A temporary reunion in 2011 proved to be, well, temporary, and it remains to be seen how long Delonge will stick around this time.

After Delonge's second exit in 2011, he was replaced by Matt Skiba. We are given to understand that now, Delonge and Skiba will face off in a no-holds-barred, everything-goes, aliens-possibly-involved fight to the death a la Hunger Games, with the victor taking their spot as the guitarist of blink-182. Mark Hoppus will provide background, while Travis Barker is reported to be "unfazed." Speaking about his chances, Skiba said he is optimistic, citing the fact that Delonge lacks practice and "...doesn't even remember whether he plays guitar right-handed or not." Delonge, meanwhile, is confident that he will "...crush Skiba like an ant caught in a supervolcano. Such is the will of the mighty Adrunnaki, they who descended to Earth from the heavens and saw fit to bequeath humanity some of their greatest creations, such as the Pyramids of Giza, the ancient city of Atlantis, and sliced bread." The Adrunnaki themselves could not be reached for comment.

whale spotted in illinois river A humpback whale was spotted near Morris IL in the Illinois River today. The sighting comes just days after 2 Great White Sharks were seen frolicking in the same area. While not impossible, it does seem unlikely. It is thought that the whale may have followed the sharks as they sometimes do in the wild. The whale would of had to travel over 1250 miles to get to this location. The Marine Biologist Association will be in town for a full investigation. Until we have answers, we are asking folks to keep their pontoons and fishing boats docked.

two great white sharks found swimming in mississippi river near saint louis, missouri. While it is not entirely impossible, it is incredibly uncommon for salt water dwelling creatures to stay for lengthy periods of time in fresh water. However, two Great White Sharks have managed to survive the trip and make their way up the Mississippi River somehow. Believed to have started as a mating couple, the two are assumed to have swam the 920 mile journey from the mouth of the Mississippi River that is connected to the Gulf Of Mexico. Officials in Saint Louis have contacted the Missouri Conservation Department and will likely have a team in the river soon to capture the two lost sharks.
