Aviso Acquired by Vista Equity Partners, Hires Eric Johnson as CEO to Drive Growth

REDWOOD CITY - Aviso, the market leader in Sales Forecasting technology, has been acquired by
Vista Equity Partners.

In addition to the funding, Aviso has hired former Marketo Chief Revenue Officer Eric Johnson as CEO.

"I’m excited to join Aviso to help Sales teams accurately forecast their growth" said Johnson. "This is a dynamic company with tons of potential."

The acquisition by Vista follows a string of investments in the sales and marketing technology space, including Marketo, who they later sold to Adobe, and Xactly.

"Sales Forecasting and Sales Planning and Execution software under one roof gives Vista a lot of strength in the sales performance ecosystem" said Richard Bernstein, Analyst at Bernstein & Co. "this provides economies of scale and great April Fools jokes at Clari"

The sighting comes just days after 2 Great White Sharks were seen frolicking in the same area. While not impossible, it does seem unlikely. However, two Great White Sharks have managed to survive the trip and make their way up the Mississippi River somehow. Believed to have started as a mating couple, the two are assumed to have swam the 920 mile journey from the mouth of the Mississippi River that is connected to the Gulf Of Mexico. Officials in Saint Louis have contacted the Missouri Conservation Department and will likely have a team in the river soon to capture the two lost sharks.
