Serbia: Željko Joksimovic has claimed he is retiring.

In an announcement that no doubt caused rivers of teenage girls' tears across the Serbia and Balkan region, the 46-year-old star has revealed he is taking a step back from the music industry.

The Heartbreaker hitmaker told radio station Radio Beograd 202, on Tuesday: "After the Arena Stozice on May 9, I'm actually retiring".

However while the star seemed somewhat sure at first, following their reaction, he backtracked slightly suggesting he has not quite made up his mind: 'I want to grow as an artist and I'm taking a step out, I want my music to mature.'

Zeljko Joksimovic stood on the big Eurovision stage twice in 2004 (representing Serbia and Montenegro) and in 2012. In his first attempt he placed second with his song “Lane Moje” while on the second, he came third with “Nije ljubav stvar“. However, despite the great success he enjoyed at the contest, he seems set on his idea of not returning as a performer.

Besides representing his home country twice, Zeljko Joksimovic has been involved at Eurovision as a songwriter and host as well. In fact, following Maria Serifovic’s win in 2007, he hosted the contest in 2008 in Belgrade alongside his (then future) wife Jovana Jankovic. Furthermore, he composed Bosnia and Herzegovina’s 2006’s entry “Lejla“, Serbia’s 2008 entry “Oro” and most recently, Montenegro’s 2015 entry “Adio“.

whale spotted in illinois river A humpback whale was spotted near Morris IL in the Illinois River today. The sighting comes just days after 2 Great White Sharks were seen frolicking in the same area. While not impossible, it does seem unlikely. It is thought that the whale may have followed the sharks as they sometimes do in the wild. The whale would of had to travel over 1250 miles to get to this location. The Marine Biologist Association will be in town for a full investigation. Until we have answers, we are asking folks to keep their pontoons and fishing boats docked.

two great white sharks found swimming in mississippi river near saint louis, missouri. While it is not entirely impossible, it is incredibly uncommon for salt water dwelling creatures to stay for lengthy periods of time in fresh water. However, two Great White Sharks have managed to survive the trip and make their way up the Mississippi River somehow. Believed to have started as a mating couple, the two are assumed to have swam the 920 mile journey from the mouth of the Mississippi River that is connected to the Gulf Of Mexico. Officials in Saint Louis have contacted the Missouri Conservation Department and will likely have a team in the river soon to capture the two lost sharks.
