Let's get down to business! The good news train keeps on rolling for actor Ryan Christopher Lee.

Lee was announced this morning as the lead in Marvel's "Shang-Chi", however, Disney didn't stop there. Recognizing the immense talent on their hands, Disney executives have officially cast Lee as "General Li Shang" in their live-action adaptation of their 1998 hit, "Mulan".

"Mulan" wrapped production in New Zealand a few months ago, but the filmmakers have since decided to reshoot the film to accommodate the addition of Lee's character.

"I am absolutely thrilled to be cast in both of these marvelous, iconic roles all in just one day," says Lee, in regards to the announcements.

"Disney is an incredible company and I'm so thankful to them. I can't wait to get to work!"

When asked what his version of the iconic hit "I'll Make a Man Out of You" will be like, Lee smirked and remained coy about the film's secrets.

"I can tell you that the musical numbers will be phenomenal. Let's just say...General Shang dusts off his rapping skills quite a bit this time around."

Lee and his best friend, Will Smith, worked together on their musical numbers for their respective movies. Smith will be playing "The Genie" in Disney's live-action "Aladdin", coming to theaters this May.

"Will and I have known each other for a while now, so he's been super helpful and supportive. He's gonna kill it as the Genie this May, seriously."

Niki Caro, who most recently helmed The Zookeeper’s Wife, is directing Disney's live-action Mulan, which is being produced by Chris Bender, Jason Reed and Jake Weiner and eyeing a 2020 release date. The 1998 animated version, voice-starring Ming-Na Wen alongside Eddie Murphy and B.D. Wong, earned $304.3 million worldwide as well as Golden Globe and Academy Award nominations.

"Mulan" is set to hit theaters in March of 2020.

whale spotted in illinois river A humpback whale was spotted near Morris IL in the Illinois River today. The sighting comes just days after 2 Great White Sharks were seen frolicking in the same area. While not impossible, it does seem unlikely. It is thought that the whale may have followed the sharks as they sometimes do in the wild. The whale would of had to travel over 1250 miles to get to this location. The Marine Biologist Association will be in town for a full investigation. Until we have answers, we are asking folks to keep their pontoons and fishing boats docked.

two great white sharks found swimming in mississippi river near saint louis, missouri. While it is not entirely impossible, it is incredibly uncommon for salt water dwelling creatures to stay for lengthy periods of time in fresh water. However, two Great White Sharks have managed to survive the trip and make their way up the Mississippi River somehow. Believed to have started as a mating couple, the two are assumed to have swam the 920 mile journey from the mouth of the Mississippi River that is connected to the Gulf Of Mexico. Officials in Saint Louis have contacted the Missouri Conservation Department and will likely have a team in the river soon to capture the two lost sharks.
