Actress Lacey Turner who plays Stacey on EastEnders has just teased how and when she will leave the show. Lacey announced back in February 2019 that she was expecting her first child with husband, Matt Key, in October 2019 meaning she was only a month gone when she announced it on her social media's. As the new broke to EastEnders fans, they knew that Lacey would be going on maternity leave around the due date.
Since her pregnancy announcement, fans have been creating theories and guessing how Stacey will leave the show. Some theories include: Stacey will yet again have an affair with Max causing Stacey and Martin to go their separate ways which could result in Lacey's departure, Stacey's Mum, Jean, dies of cancer, and because she can't handle it, her and the family will take a holiday, her brother Sean might return and persuade Stacey & Jean to leave with him for a while and the most insane theory is Stacey will get killed off. All of these theories could very well be true, however, the rumour that Stacey will get killed off is completely false as the actress herself said that she is returning to the show after she has her first child.
Lacey Turner went on the 'This Morning' show last Friday (July 13th), and now being five months pregnant and her baby bump growing, it was very evident that her maternity exit is right around the corner.
She started off by talking about her pregnancy and then she went on to start teasing her exit from EastEnders. She said "At the end of July, the storyline which leads to my exit will start and you know once it does, it will kind of become quite easy to figure out how and why Stacey leaves. Like you might watch it and be like oh yeah, this is how she's gonna leave, however, EastEnders have been really clever about my exit this time round. The storyline will start and then on top of that, another one starts like two episodes before I leave and that's the real one which actually leads to my exit, so it's like a double storyline. One which starts at the end of this month and then one that starts literally like one or two episodes before I leave..." she also added "it's very unexpected, to say the least. I can't really say much other than the first storyline which starts in a few weeks time, there's like a battle going on between Kat and Stacey which kind of tears the family apart then on top of that, the other storyline, Stacey does something which results in all of the family turning on her. Then when she leaves the family start to struggle until she comes back."
She then moved on to tease how Stacey might return to the show saying "So now that Stacey's been gone a while, even though the Slaters turned on her, the family starts to erupt. You know you've got Jean's cancer, you've got the battle between Stacey and Kat still going on, you've got all the family worrying where Stacey's gone then on top of it all, the family starts turing on each other whilst Stacey's away. Don't quote me on this, this is just an example, Martin and Kat might turn on each other and Mo and Kat might turn on each other. So when Stacey's back, the whole family is worse than when she left and when she gets back, she has to sort everything out and get everything back to normal again which won't be easy and might result in more family drama and fights." She finally said that "even though Stacey's exit will mainly effect the Slaters, it will effect the whole square in general."
After seeing this interview, fans again started creating theories on her exit storyline. Some theories included: Stacey will be the cause of someones death in the square as it's been confirmed that one character will die toward the end of summer/beginning of Autumn, Stacey will divorce Martin or Stacey has an affair with either Max or someone else on the square.
As of July 20th 2019, Lacey Turner has finished filming and is now on maternity leave. She filmed her final scenes in the first week of July and on screen husband, Martin, played by James Bye, has described her exit as "explosive & dramatic" EastEnders normally film their episodes a few months early, so we should expect to see Stacey leave the show around the middle/end of September 2019. She is due around the middle of October and when your on maternity leave, you're allowed up to six months off from your job. So if actress Lacey follows that, we could be seeing her back on our screens in April 2020, or she might possibly take some more time off the show as she hasn't taken a break since being back in 2014. If she does take a longer break, then we can expect to see her back next summer in June or July. Lacey also confirmed that her break would be less than a year.

whale spotted in illinois river A humpback whale was spotted near Morris IL in the Illinois River today. The sighting comes just days after 2 Great White Sharks were seen frolicking in the same area. While not impossible, it does seem unlikely. It is thought that the whale may have followed the sharks as they sometimes do in the wild. The whale would of had to travel over 1250 miles to get to this location. The Marine Biologist Association will be in town for a full investigation. Until we have answers, we are asking folks to keep their pontoons and fishing boats docked.

two great white sharks found swimming in mississippi river near saint louis, missouri. While it is not entirely impossible, it is incredibly uncommon for salt water dwelling creatures to stay for lengthy periods of time in fresh water. However, two Great White Sharks have managed to survive the trip and make their way up the Mississippi River somehow. Believed to have started as a mating couple, the two are assumed to have swam the 920 mile journey from the mouth of the Mississippi River that is connected to the Gulf Of Mexico. Officials in Saint Louis have contacted the Missouri Conservation Department and will likely have a team in the river soon to capture the two lost sharks.
