For the first time in over two hundred and sixty years, a Commonwealth Nation is considering a mass deportation. Canadian Immigration and Citizenship Minister Ahmed Hussen has confirmed that the Government of Canada is considering deporting Canadians of Acadian descent; a move that nearly decimated this French speaking group beginning in 1755.

"Governor Charles Lawrence's move while bold and profound, was extremely decisive in ridding the present day Maritime Provinces of these social undesirables" said Hussan during a recent Parliamentary Hearing on immigration. "Other than cutting down a lot of forest, drinking beer and banging pots and pans they have done little to contribute to modern Canadian society" exclaimed the Minister.

When challenged on how this could have an adverse effect on the already declining population in New Brunswick, the Minister responded "It's only thirty-two percent, that's like removing only seven bottles out of a two-four of beer, there's still plenty enough to get a good jag on."

While no timeline has been established, sources from within Supply and Services Canada have confirmed that requests for proposals are being drafted for large vessels capable of transporting and estimated 230,000 people. Destinations are unknown as it appears no other nation is interested in hosting them. "You only have to take one look to realize how undesirable they really are" said Hussan as he presented the picture of an unidentified Acadian male.

whale spotted in illinois river A humpback whale was spotted near Morris IL in the Illinois River today. The sighting comes just days after 2 Great White Sharks were seen frolicking in the same area. While not impossible, it does seem unlikely. It is thought that the whale may have followed the sharks as they sometimes do in the wild. The whale would of had to travel over 1250 miles to get to this location. The Marine Biologist Association will be in town for a full investigation. Until we have answers, we are asking folks to keep their pontoons and fishing boats docked.

two great white sharks found swimming in mississippi river near saint louis, missouri. While it is not entirely impossible, it is incredibly uncommon for salt water dwelling creatures to stay for lengthy periods of time in fresh water. However, two Great White Sharks have managed to survive the trip and make their way up the Mississippi River somehow. Believed to have started as a mating couple, the two are assumed to have swam the 920 mile journey from the mouth of the Mississippi River that is connected to the Gulf Of Mexico. Officials in Saint Louis have contacted the Missouri Conservation Department and will likely have a team in the river soon to capture the two lost sharks.
