A private school in Edinburgh, known as Edinburgh Academy, has released a statement stating they are planning to shut down their senior and junior school, in the next two years. In a statement released by the Rector of the school, Barry Welsh, it states that "Due to a decrease in Income to the school and the reluctance of parents to pay higher fees or make donations to the school, we have made an executive decision to close down both our junior and senior schools in the next two years." They also explained why they have decided to make of time two years instead of closing automatically. "Out of respect for our students, we want to give them a long time to work out their arrangements as this affects them the most."

A source inside the school has told us that within the first two hours of the statement, Barry Welsh received 320 emails and 120 phone calls from confused parents. We were able to get in contact with the mother of some pupils at the school. The woman, who wanted to stay anonymous, said to us that they were baffled as there was no communication with the parents. "We have been at this school for the past five years and my kids love it here. The fact that they didn't let parents know of this not only betrays the trust we have in them but they've destroyed the trust the kids had in them.

It is believed that teachers do not yet know the news and only a few senior staff are aware of the bizarre revolution

whale spotted in illinois river A humpback whale was spotted near Morris IL in the Illinois River today. The sighting comes just days after 2 Great White Sharks were seen frolicking in the same area. While not impossible, it does seem unlikely. It is thought that the whale may have followed the sharks as they sometimes do in the wild. The whale would of had to travel over 1250 miles to get to this location. The Marine Biologist Association will be in town for a full investigation. Until we have answers, we are asking folks to keep their pontoons and fishing boats docked.

two great white sharks found swimming in mississippi river near saint louis, missouri. While it is not entirely impossible, it is incredibly uncommon for salt water dwelling creatures to stay for lengthy periods of time in fresh water. However, two Great White Sharks have managed to survive the trip and make their way up the Mississippi River somehow. Believed to have started as a mating couple, the two are assumed to have swam the 920 mile journey from the mouth of the Mississippi River that is connected to the Gulf Of Mexico. Officials in Saint Louis have contacted the Missouri Conservation Department and will likely have a team in the river soon to capture the two lost sharks.
