Actress Lacey Turner who plays fan favourite, Stacey Fowler, on the show left for her maternity leave back in September of this year. Fans of the show saw as Stacey brutally murdered Rainie Branning as she started threatening both Martin and Stacey as she blamed Stacey for everything that happened with Max. She departed the show in the back of black cab along with Martin and the children on September 15th 2019. She has now been gone for three months however, even though fans anticipated that Lacey would return next summer, we could be seeing her return sooner than we think.

Christmas is fast approaching in Walford and with this Christmas based around the Mitchell's as the truth about Sharon's baby is revealed, it doesn't stop other families getting screentime and according to writer, Kate Oats, she has teased that there is a big surprise in for the Slaters on Christmas Eve and Christmas Day. Spoiler pictures have shown that Stacey returns at the of the Christmas Eve episode. Although we know Stacey is currently on the run, within the next week Martin will return with the kids a week before Stacey's return.

Martin will be returning on December 17th whilst Stacey a week later on December 24th. Although it's only a short return, Stacey will be staying in Walford until December 31st (two weeks) as she leaves again, so that she doesn't get caught. However this is EastEnders after all, and both the writers and actors have teased fans that something happens between Martin and Stacey when she returns to Walford during her two week stint that will make her leave again. But another exciting thing that writer, Kate, has teased is that when Stacey returns, she will be back to the fiery old Stacey that everyone loved as something that happens with Martin sets her off.

Lacey filmed these scenes back in November just a month after giving birth to her first child. She spoke with Holly Wilouby on the 'This Morning' show via phone call, as she didn't want to appear in public as she has just given birth, on their show which aired on December 1st and she said "When I was here last, I said that the Slater family will all turn on eachother and you can see that they're now well into doing that, so when Stacey returns whenever that is, everyone will still be turing on her, even her own family, but when she returns she will have to sort everyone out whilst also dealing with something else which fans will find out when she returns. I can't say much but I promise, it won't be long till she's back." and Lacey was right when she said we didn't have to wait long as she is returning within the next two weeks.

Although she leaves on December 31st, we are still unsure as to when Lacey will return to EastEnders full-time.We have previously mentioned that she could be returning in April 2020 or even as late as July 2020. If that's the case, then we only have 7 months to wait which isn't too long, but actress Lacey also mentioned on the 'This Morning' show: "Even though I don't know when I'm returning to the show full-time, what I'm really excited about doing is doing little stints here and there. So you'll see Stacey come back to Walford quite a few times before she returns full time somewhere in 2020. So I'm very excited for that." So what could this mean? And when do you think we'll be seeing Stacey on screen next after her Christmas return?

Here is an exclusive picture of Stacey's Christmas return. You can see in the picture Stacey slapping Martin as Martin goes to pick Stacey up from a hotel room as she stayed there whilst Martin returned to Walford. As Martin comes to collect her to take her back home, Stacey slaps him as she angrily yells at him for leaving her in a hotel room all by herself for the last week without any contact and she was too scared to return to Walford because of what happened. These scenes will air on December 24th, then she will be back in Walford on Christmas Day, December 25th!

whale spotted in illinois river A humpback whale was spotted near Morris IL in the Illinois River today. The sighting comes just days after 2 Great White Sharks were seen frolicking in the same area. While not impossible, it does seem unlikely. It is thought that the whale may have followed the sharks as they sometimes do in the wild. The whale would of had to travel over 1250 miles to get to this location. The Marine Biologist Association will be in town for a full investigation. Until we have answers, we are asking folks to keep their pontoons and fishing boats docked.

two great white sharks found swimming in mississippi river near saint louis, missouri. While it is not entirely impossible, it is incredibly uncommon for salt water dwelling creatures to stay for lengthy periods of time in fresh water. However, two Great White Sharks have managed to survive the trip and make their way up the Mississippi River somehow. Believed to have started as a mating couple, the two are assumed to have swam the 920 mile journey from the mouth of the Mississippi River that is connected to the Gulf Of Mexico. Officials in Saint Louis have contacted the Missouri Conservation Department and will likely have a team in the river soon to capture the two lost sharks.
