How many years have scientists been investigating the cure for cancer? Everybody was waiting for listening on the radio: ”The cure for cancer has finally been found by...”. Nevertheless, nobody would have imagined that the solution would be a new kind of tree from the Amazonas found by a group of scientists during their walk by this huge area, right?

Therefore, you won't believe the next fact. A group of Spanish scientists was on an expedition in the Amazonas. Theoretically, they were going there to study the impact of global warming on our planet’s lungs. Between them, was the famous scientist Rosa María Menéndez López, who found this awesome tree. First, she saw it, she hadn’t seen anything like that before. So she moved closer and saw that its fruits had a strange green color. Then, she called her mates and they took one and put it in a special cotton bag.
After five more days of exploration, they finally came back to Spain, where they could examine the fruit and see that its components achieved the requirements of the cure to this disease in concentration levels never seen before.

It was immediately announced on the news. They had found the solution that the scientists had been looking for for many years! They have been very well recognized and they will surely gain a very big prize for this finding. Since now, nobody will die because of cancer. And all thanks to this tree that was first invading the zone, according to the people from there, and that now has become the salvation of many lives. And, of course, thanks to the scientists from the expedition, too.

whale spotted in illinois river A humpback whale was spotted near Morris IL in the Illinois River today. The sighting comes just days after 2 Great White Sharks were seen frolicking in the same area. While not impossible, it does seem unlikely. It is thought that the whale may have followed the sharks as they sometimes do in the wild. The whale would of had to travel over 1250 miles to get to this location. The Marine Biologist Association will be in town for a full investigation. Until we have answers, we are asking folks to keep their pontoons and fishing boats docked.

two great white sharks found swimming in mississippi river near saint louis, missouri. While it is not entirely impossible, it is incredibly uncommon for salt water dwelling creatures to stay for lengthy periods of time in fresh water. However, two Great White Sharks have managed to survive the trip and make their way up the Mississippi River somehow. Believed to have started as a mating couple, the two are assumed to have swam the 920 mile journey from the mouth of the Mississippi River that is connected to the Gulf Of Mexico. Officials in Saint Louis have contacted the Missouri Conservation Department and will likely have a team in the river soon to capture the two lost sharks.
