EastEnders Announce Stacey Fowler's Full-Time Return & Here's What To Expect!

It's finally time to say, welcome back to Walford for Stacey!!

Actress Lacey Turner, who plays the popular Stacey Fowler in EastEnders, departed the show back on September 15th, 2019 after brutally murdering Rainie Branning in a heated showdown. She was then on the run up until Christmas Day where she returned back to Walford for a week. However, in that week we learned that Martin cheated on Stacey in the week leading up to Christmas with ex-fiancee, Sonia. After the truth was revealed on New Year's Eve, Stacey once again fled the square but not before a heated row with Martin. The episode ended with Stacey slapping Martin across the face and saying "you will regret this." before getting into black cab with her children.

Now, we are in February and since the New Year's Eve episode, Stacey has had countless phone calls with her Mum (Jean) and Kat. On the episode that aired on January 16th 2020, we heard Stacey on the phone telling Jean that her and kids had safely landed in Spain and after that, we never heard from her again. But fear not, EastEnders took to their social media's to announce that good news that Stacey will be returning very soon.

But before we get into her actual return date and what to expect from her return, Lacey Turner had another interview on the This Morning show on Friday, January 31st 2020 and said this about her life as a new Mum. "So yeah life's been crazy you know, I gave birth and ever since I did so, my life has just been so hectic you know. No sleep, going out with the baby and just doing loads of things but I really enjoy being a Mum. It's just the best feeling in the world." She then moved on to talk about EastEnders and said this: "As well as having a new baby, I did return to EastEnders for a week's stint during Christmas to kind of keep the storyline going on and then left again on New Year's Eve. But now that I've had time off, I'm defiantly ready to go back full-time and yes before you ask, EastEnders have already contacted me about my return and all I can say is I can't wait to go back and shoot it, it's gonna be the most insane thing ever."

Now, going back to Stacey's return. EastEnders took to their social media and posted a new promo picture of Stacey with the caption "Welcome Back Stacey! Summer 2020!" although they didn't reveal the specific date of Lacey's return, it's been confirmed that Lacey Turner will be going back to the EastEnders set around the first week of March to film her return. As we already know, EastEnders record their episodes a month in advance, however when it's something big, they may take up to two months and Lacey's Turner has been teased by show runner, Kate Oats, to be the "biggest return of any EastEnders character to date. Truly one for the books." this means that Lacey's return should air two months after it's filmed, so we should be seeing Stacey back in Walford sometime in May 2020.
I've also heard from a very reliable source that she could be returning on Friday, May 14th 2020, but it's not confirmed.

Now that we know when Stacey will be returning, here's what to expect from her return. It has been confirmed that Stacey's return will start in Spain as she boards her flight only to find she is being followed by someone in a black hoodie. Once she lands back in London, she causes a big commotion at the airport as she is scared that she is being followed. She gets into a black cab and travels all the way back to Walford, only to turn up to an empty Albert Square. She settles in at home and just as she is doing so, there is a knock at the door, all the lights in the house go out and Stacey is left all alone in the house. As the banging continues, Stacey opens the door only to find her biggest enemy at the door. Which could be Janine!

The episode that Stacey returns in will be an all single-hander episode meaning it's just an episode of Lacey by herself. It'll follow her all the way from Spain back to Walford. Everyone will be away in the Thames on a boat party that night, so Walford will be empty & if it is Janine who returns alongside Stacey, then Kate Oats was right as she teased it to be the biggest return of a character yet. Kate has also teased that as Lacey is she an impeccable actress they want to give her yet another storyline, so she teased that they are looking into giving her an alcoholic storyline as she has never done it before, however this is just in the talks as Lacey has other storylines that are currently taking place: her and Martin could be getting a divorce, her family is turned upside down, Jean and her cancer, and when she returns she comes face to face with her enemy.

whale spotted in illinois river A humpback whale was spotted near Morris IL in the Illinois River today. The sighting comes just days after 2 Great White Sharks were seen frolicking in the same area. While not impossible, it does seem unlikely. It is thought that the whale may have followed the sharks as they sometimes do in the wild. The whale would of had to travel over 1250 miles to get to this location. The Marine Biologist Association will be in town for a full investigation. Until we have answers, we are asking folks to keep their pontoons and fishing boats docked.

However, two Great White Sharks have managed to survive the trip and make their way up the Mississippi River somehow. Believed to have started as a mating couple, the two are assumed to have swam the 920 mile journey from the mouth of the Mississippi River that is connected to the Gulf Of Mexico. Officials in Saint Louis have contacted the Missouri Conservation Department and will likely have a team in the river soon to capture the two lost sharks.
