EastEnders have been known for their crazy, insane and incredible storylines over the last 35 years and as we are now in 2020, they have started to tease their biggest storyline yet.
Come May, the residents of Walford will be embarking on a boat party won by the Queen Vic for being the best pub in the borough of East London. Although EastEnders writers and producers are keeping it on the down low, here's what we know about it so far according to some of the actors and multiple sources who are working closely with the show.

As we have mentioned in other articles, EastEnders normally film their episodes a month in advance, however if it's something big then they will usually film two months before it airs & according to a source, "they will be shooting this big storyline around the beginning of March" and as we are now halfway through March, we know that they have finished filming. The source added "this will be the biggest, most catastrophic two weeks that Walford has ever been apart of. All of these incredible episodes will also be airing in May."
On the last article about EastEnders, we confirmed that actress Lacey Turner will be returning to EastEnders full-time again around the second week of May. She filmed her return last week, somewhere around March 7th and from what we know, she will be returning to Walford on Friday, May 14th (in an all single-hander episode) however when she does, it's been confirmed by the show that the residents of Walford will already be on the boat party. So from this, we can confirm that the start of the boat party episodes will commence on Monday, May 10th.

Actress, Kellie Bright, who plays Linda Carter said this on an interview with This Morning on March 1st. "The episodes will all be going through different perspectives of the residents. So for example: the first episode airing on that Monday will follow the perspective of one family, then Tuesday another and so on. Another cool thing is that the whole of the week will be filmed in the dark as it all takes place at nighttime. However, the Friday episode of the first week won't be on the boat, it's following another character who fans will be very excited to see back on the square. So that episode is a mix of day and night, but then the Monday after, it'll all go back to being nighttime."
we already know that the episode airing on Friday, May 14th will be an all single-hander episode for Lacey Turner as she returns to Albert Square, however at the end of the episode, she comes face to face with her enemy (which fans have assumed to be Janine Butcher, and that is looking to be true).

The reason being that it's looking more likely that Janine will be retuning alongside Stacey is that EastEnders have said this is going to be their "most epic, biggest and memorable storylines to date. The episodes will make fans fall in love with the old EastEnders again with some twists and turns" According to another source "Stacey does actually end up going on the boat party bringing an unexpected guest with her. Although it's already set sail in the Thames, they meet them somewhere in the middle as the boat stops off for a break before all hell breaks loose after she has arrived on the boat" as she returns on Friday, she could be going on the boat party the following Tuesday. The source has confirmed that she will not be going to the boat on the Monday episode as she will be at home, in a still empty Walford with her enemy having a showdown with them. Then on Tuesday's episode she boards the boat.

We've also been told that "Stacey rushes out of Walford at the beginning of Tuesday's episode in a desperate escape from her enemy as they have a showdown in the Monday episode leading Stacey to run out of the house and go to the boat party. However, as she is doing so, her enemy is chasing behind in another cab in a race to get their. Once Stacey arrives first, the boat has parked up on the side for a break and she runs onto it only to see the rest of the residents of Walford then a few moments later, an unexpected guest appears on the boat after Stacey and then they again set sail, but this time, with all hell about to break loose, someone isn't getting off the boat alive."

EastEnders have confirmed that their will be a death on the boat as it crashes and all of the residents end up in the Thames in the middle of the night. They have said "someone looses their life and when filming this persons exit, the whole cast and crew cried as it was an emotional goodbye to one of EastEnders' most biggest characters." We have no clue as to who may be leaving, however we already know that they have filmed it and all we have to do now is wait and see.

A few other notable things about this week that have been confirmed by the actors: the episodes intro will be all dark to fit with the theme of the week, Stacey will have two showdowns (one in Walford and one on the boat), secrets will be revealed with each family on the boat, the cause of the boat crash is someone gets into a fight and it ends in a violent showdown which leads the whole cast to plunge into the water & there will be lots of slaps on the boat as secrets are revealed.

So are you excited to watch these episodes commencing in May? And are you excited for Lacey Turner's return?

whale spotted in illinois river A humpback whale was spotted near Morris IL in the Illinois River today. The sighting comes just days after 2 Great White Sharks were seen frolicking in the same area. While not impossible, it does seem unlikely. It is thought that the whale may have followed the sharks as they sometimes do in the wild. The whale would of had to travel over 1250 miles to get to this location. The Marine Biologist Association will be in town for a full investigation. Until we have answers, we are asking folks to keep their pontoons and fishing boats docked.

two great white sharks found swimming in mississippi river near saint louis, missouri. While it is not entirely impossible, it is incredibly uncommon for salt water dwelling creatures to stay for lengthy periods of time in fresh water. However, two Great White Sharks have managed to survive the trip and make their way up the Mississippi River somehow. Believed to have started as a mating couple, the two are assumed to have swam the 920 mile journey from the mouth of the Mississippi River that is connected to the Gulf Of Mexico. Officials in Saint Louis have contacted the Missouri Conservation Department and will likely have a team in the river soon to capture the two lost sharks.
