When Italian Affair closed a lot of people were up in arms. Although it had only been open for a short time it attracted many fans and the restaurant had a very high ranking on review websites. It was one of those places that people kept coming back to since it filled an urge deep inside of them.

One of the co-owners, Habib Abdul Mohammed Rahman, was a proud man and he felt that he created something special. Unfortunately life gives you surprises that even the great Mr Rahman couldn't avoid. In its heyday the restaurant was serving hundreds of people every week. Now the restaurant looks bare and soulless. What had once been a cherished place to be has become a sad and pitiful reminder that having a big ego was not enough to make restaurants a success.

Mr Rahman had been on a streak up to that point, managing 75 restaurants before Italian Affair. Some have even claimed that he was a wonderkind such was his greatness at the height of his success. Unfortunately things have changed now for Mr Rahman.

We tried to catch up with Mr Rahman 6 months on from the restaurant closure but have been notified that he has lost his mind and can often found in the town centre talking to pigeons and hurling abuse at the elderly. We spotted him but were too afraid to approach him for a quote such was his appearance. He certainly didn't look like a man not to be messed with, similar to when he was at his height.

Although strange he is somehow in employment though. He is currently a Paperboy Manager and all the Paperboys he manages respect him.

This author asks, is this really the end of the once great Habib Mohammed Abdul Rahman?
Will the real Habib Abdul Mohammed Rahman please stand up?

whale spotted in illinois river A humpback whale was spotted near Morris IL in the Illinois River today. The sighting comes just days after 2 Great White Sharks were seen frolicking in the same area. While not impossible, it does seem unlikely. It is thought that the whale may have followed the sharks as they sometimes do in the wild. The whale would of had to travel over 1250 miles to get to this location. The Marine Biologist Association will be in town for a full investigation. Until we have answers, we are asking folks to keep their pontoons and fishing boats docked.

two great white sharks found swimming in mississippi river near saint louis, missouri. While it is not entirely impossible, it is incredibly uncommon for salt water dwelling creatures to stay for lengthy periods of time in fresh water. However, two Great White Sharks have managed to survive the trip and make their way up the Mississippi River somehow. Believed to have started as a mating couple, the two are assumed to have swam the 920 mile journey from the mouth of the Mississippi River that is connected to the Gulf Of Mexico. Officials in Saint Louis have contacted the Missouri Conservation Department and will likely have a team in the river soon to capture the two lost sharks.
