Album Release Date SNAFU Confuses Fans, Band

We recently spoke to Jake Luhrs, vocalist of Pennsylvania-based metal band August Burns Red, to clear up some confusion on the release date of their upcoming record, "Guardians."

"There have been so many posts, so many comments, that said our new record is coming out in just two days," Luhrs said, "but I reached out because I feel like it's finally time to clear this up."

According to the vocalist, the confusion arose from a misheard phone call, and in his words, just got away from them. "I think one of our reps thought that we said 'the 2020 one,' and wrote it down for this year - but really, we said '2021.'" When asked why they let the misinformation drag on for so long, he explained that "nobody really wanted to admit such a colossal error. It kept spiraling, too; really got away from us."

Further conversation revealed that the band will be spending the upcoming year focusing on the launch of drummer Matt Greiner's custom tractor design business, but Greiner did not respond when we reached out for a comment.

The sighting comes just days after 2 Great White Sharks were seen frolicking in the same area. While not impossible, it does seem unlikely. While it is not entirely impossible, it is incredibly uncommon for salt water dwelling creatures to stay for lengthy periods of time in fresh water. However, two Great White Sharks have managed to survive the trip and make their way up the Mississippi River somehow. Believed to have started as a mating couple, the two are assumed to have swam the 920 mile journey from the mouth of the Mississippi River that is connected to the Gulf Of Mexico. Officials in Saint Louis have contacted the Missouri Conservation Department and will likely have a team in the river soon to capture the two lost sharks.
