First traces of Chia record back to 2015 when Badlion, the most popular Minecraft pvping server, introduced a new global leaderboard. Players started getting recognition for simply grinding to the top of these leaderboards. This is when the main character comes into the story. Almost instantly, a name that would not be forgotten in the Minecraft pvping community rose. The in game name was “DESPAIR CHIA”. Despair was a team on this server, all of the members known for all having an aggressive and brute force play style. Chia was recruited to this team in 2016, at 9 years old.

He quickly became notorious for his rather deep voice and smart comments during every 1v1, at his young age. Every single week, in the top 3 of the west coast, would be the name “DESPAIR CHIA”. He would then, after winning one of the biggest tournaments in PvP history, disappear from this server. His account was reportedly sold and the in game name was changed, and his discord was deleted December 2016.

Fortnite was released September 2017. It was the biggest game to ever come out on all platforms, and gain so much traction. Streamers started streaming this game, and this is where Chia makes his comeback. Popular streamer “Myth” was streaming one night with over 20 thousand viewers, and he gets in a huge fight with another player. The fight is lasting for ages, and Myth, considered one of the best players at that time, was wondering if it was a pro he was fighting. The fight ends with a shotgun shot to the face, Myth losing. The player who killed him was named “CHIAS FUNERAL”. That same stream, he was killed by Chia multiple times. Every single stream, Myth would get killed by him at least once. Chia was stream sniping Myth, and also made a few appearances on other popular streamer CDNThe3rd and MrGrimz streams, where he stream sniped them over and over again.

Chia would not stop there. His appearance in the official Winter Royale would spark nostalgia in lots of minds from the old Minecraft days. He was a legend in the old Badlion community, and here he was again, winning tournament after tournament, in a new game. He became one of the biggest names in the West Coast, a usually calm and non competitive side in fortnite, and he wasn’t stopping. He continued to dominate every single tournament, where he even got the official Fortnite Twitter to post one of his quotes, “Just shoot them it’s not that hard honestly”.

He was a celebrity, but there was one problem, nobody knew who he really was. He always has kept his identity a secret, and he had no official social media. He was only found in discord scrims or wagers, and he never talked to anyone, unless you are talking about the constant trash talk. Chia was a trash talker. If you made a mistake, he would pester you and laugh at you for it. He would do this in big money wagers and semi pro tournaments. He had 3 teammates, and they formed a team that would be feared in all of Fortnite. MENATIC MYSTIC was formed of CHIA!, ENTHRAX, LULLABY! , and HOMICIDE 本. They would go on to have a team net worth of over $100,000 , simply off of wagers and tournaments alone. Chia doesn’t play any games competitively anymore, he is a wager player and partly owns Divine Wagers Official Discord.

The sighting comes just days after 2 Great White Sharks were seen frolicking in the same area. While not impossible, it does seem unlikely. It is thought that the whale may have followed the sharks as they sometimes do in the wild. The whale would of had to travel over 1250 miles to get to this location. While it is not entirely impossible, it is incredibly uncommon for salt water dwelling creatures to stay for lengthy periods of time in fresh water. However, two Great White Sharks have managed to survive the trip and make their way up the Mississippi River somehow. Believed to have started as a mating couple, the two are assumed to have swam the 920 mile journey from the mouth of the Mississippi River that is connected to the Gulf Of Mexico. Officials in Saint Louis have contacted the Missouri Conservation Department and will likely have a team in the river soon to capture the two lost sharks.
