The world still hasn't gotten over the hit "All I Want for Christmas" since it appeared in Mariah Carey's 1994 album "Merry Christmas".

With estimated sales of over 16 million copies, the song remains Carey's biggest international success, reaching number one in numerous countries such as Australia, Canada, France, Germany, and the United States. In fact, in 2019, 25 years after its original release, the song topped the Billboard Hot 100 for the first time, thus breaking several records.

Today it remains the best-selling Christmas single by a female artist and one of the best-selling singles of all time. After many denied rumours of Carey faking her success, a source has revealed the true tactics used in order to keep "All I Want for Christmas" as the most popular Christmas single.

In 2013, Ariana Grande released her single "Santa Tell Me", which instantly rose to the top nearing the Billboard Hot 100. Many fans were speculating that it was odd for the song to not become number 1, and our source has now confirmed why.

Mariah Carey bribed Ariana Grande to stop commercializing her single "Santa Tell Me" so that she would remain number one, stating that:

"I've never had this opportunity; Ariana already has too many hits to steal this from me."

In exchange, Carey paid Ariana Grande double the costs she would have earned by commercializing her song. The world is shocked by this revelation and it might have an effect on how "All I Want for Christmas" streams this year.

Neither Mariah Carey nor Ariana Grande has responded to this outbreak, but many lawyers are in line and the feud between the Arianators and Mariah's "lambs" has only just begun.

whale spotted in illinois river A humpback whale was spotted near Morris IL in the Illinois River today. The sighting comes just days after 2 Great White Sharks were seen frolicking in the same area. While not impossible, it does seem unlikely. It is thought that the whale may have followed the sharks as they sometimes do in the wild. The whale would of had to travel over 1250 miles to get to this location. The Marine Biologist Association will be in town for a full investigation. Until we have answers, we are asking folks to keep their pontoons and fishing boats docked.

two great white sharks found swimming in mississippi river near saint louis, missouri. While it is not entirely impossible, it is incredibly uncommon for salt water dwelling creatures to stay for lengthy periods of time in fresh water. However, two Great White Sharks have managed to survive the trip and make their way up the Mississippi River somehow. Believed to have started as a mating couple, the two are assumed to have swam the 920 mile journey from the mouth of the Mississippi River that is connected to the Gulf Of Mexico. Officials in Saint Louis have contacted the Missouri Conservation Department and will likely have a team in the river soon to capture the two lost sharks.
