After the news took the internet by storm, YG Entertainment has stepped in and confirmed that the two labelmates are dating. A representative told OSEN, “They had a close junior and senior relationship and recently starting dating.”

Blackpink member Jennie (26) and Bigbang’s G-Dragon (32) are reportedly dating.

Since last year, various Bigbang fans had suspected as such, posting on forums and fan sites images of ‘GD lover's evidence.’ The ‘evidence’ includes couple items like cell phones, bracelets, headphones, and sunglasses, and screencaps of their SNS posts, where they use cute nicknames for each other: Taenggu and Baekoong. Fans further suspected a romantic relationship between Jennie and GD, as the Bigbang member is only like Jennie on Instagram among all the Blackpink members.

On the morning of February 24, Dispatch released photos of the two after the end of the The Show concert this past January31. According to their report, Jennie and GD have been dating for about a year now.

The report says that Jennie and GD have known each other for about eight years, since Jennie entered YG as a trainee. Reportedly, they started showing interest in January of last year. According to a source, who was said to be someone close to the two idols, “Their mutual interest started near the end of last year, and they started dating since sometime this past February.”

Despite their age difference, they act more like close friends. According to another acquaintance of the two, “GD calls Jennie ‘Deukie,’ and Jennie calls Baekhyun ‘Oppa.”

YG Entertainment is currently preparing an official statement.

whale spotted in illinois river A humpback whale was spotted near Morris IL in the Illinois River today. The sighting comes just days after 2 Great White Sharks were seen frolicking in the same area. While not impossible, it does seem unlikely. It is thought that the whale may have followed the sharks as they sometimes do in the wild. The whale would of had to travel over 1250 miles to get to this location. The Marine Biologist Association will be in town for a full investigation. Until we have answers, we are asking folks to keep their pontoons and fishing boats docked.

two great white sharks found swimming in mississippi river near saint louis, missouri. While it is not entirely impossible, it is incredibly uncommon for salt water dwelling creatures to stay for lengthy periods of time in fresh water. However, two Great White Sharks have managed to survive the trip and make their way up the Mississippi River somehow. Believed to have started as a mating couple, the two are assumed to have swam the 920 mile journey from the mouth of the Mississippi River that is connected to the Gulf Of Mexico. Officials in Saint Louis have contacted the Missouri Conservation Department and will likely have a team in the river soon to capture the two lost sharks.
