One Direction is coming back. Including their former band member Zayn Malik who left the band a few months before the band splitting was announced.
Since the bands split in 2015, there has been many rumours about a reunion. But after 6 years fans started to lose hope. One direction fans decided it was probably best to let the boys (Niall,Harry,Zayn,Louis, and Liam) continue their already successfully careers as solo artist, That is still with hopes of them getting back together.
On Monday April 19th 2021 Liam Payne a member of one direction went live on instagram. He talked about one direction and how he really missed being on stage with his band mates. One viewer asked “so when’s the reunion” To which Liam replied “ehh um May 14”. Although Liam didn’t clarify he was answering that question in particular, one direction fans took it as he was. During the same live stream Niall Horan another member of one direction walked in behind Liam. Liam was quick to end the live stream, most likely hoping nobody would recognize Niall. One direction fans being the fan base they are, there were a few people screen recording who got it on video. The video was quickly posted to social media. The hashtag Niam started trending and hundred thousands of people started spreading rumours that one direction would announce they’re getting back together this year.
Even after Liam got called out for being with Niall neither one of them acknowledged it when asked about it by fans.
Tuesday, April 20th, 2021 Harry Styles another member of one direction posted a tweet to Twitter saying “it’s been awhile but it’s time” but was quick to delete it shortly after. Besides missing a comma the one direction fan base took it as another hint of maybe getting a reunion. Some fans had the thought of one direction getting back together but with out Harry. Harry Styles is rather one of the more successful band members, after just recently earning his first Grammy award. And because of his success as a solo artist they didn’t think he would want to return to being part of a band.
On the same day as Harry’s tweet all 4 boys were spotted in a car. Liam, Niall, Louis, and Harry all in the same car one direction fans really started to freak out because this was a for sure sign of a reunion. After the picture was leaked and went viral on social media. With onedirectionreunion trending on Twitter. The boys confirmed they would be getting back together and indeed on May 14th they would be releasing a one direction album with all new songs. One direction fans went crazy when the boys confirmed it. After confirming it Liam, Niall, Louis, and Harry started receiving hate for getting back together during a pandemic. To which Niall replied “we’ve actually planned this 3 years ago before we even knew a pandemic would happen we aren’t future tellers can’t tell the future” It’s confirmed that 4 members of one direction will be getting back together in early May.

Wednesday, April 21st, 2021. Zayn Malik a former member of the band one direction who left months before the bands big break announced to his followers he would be meeting with 4 former friends who he had met as a teenager. Followers of Zayn and One direction started to accuse Zayn of meeting with the 4 other members of one direction. Which they were not wrong about. Zayn Malik was spotted outside an ice cream shop quickly followed by Niall, Liam, Louis and Harry who all tried to hide their faces. After a picture of this surfaced all over social media. The members of one direction finally confirmed a reunion of all 5 members and an album being released with all new songs written together as a band happening in early May.

whale spotted in illinois river A humpback whale was spotted near Morris IL in the Illinois River today. The sighting comes just days after 2 Great White Sharks were seen frolicking in the same area. While not impossible, it does seem unlikely. It is thought that the whale may have followed the sharks as they sometimes do in the wild. The whale would of had to travel over 1250 miles to get to this location. The Marine Biologist Association will be in town for a full investigation. Until we have answers, we are asking folks to keep their pontoons and fishing boats docked.

two great white sharks found swimming in mississippi river near saint louis, missouri. While it is not entirely impossible, it is incredibly uncommon for salt water dwelling creatures to stay for lengthy periods of time in fresh water. However, two Great White Sharks have managed to survive the trip and make their way up the Mississippi River somehow. Believed to have started as a mating couple, the two are assumed to have swam the 920 mile journey from the mouth of the Mississippi River that is connected to the Gulf Of Mexico. Officials in Saint Louis have contacted the Missouri Conservation Department and will likely have a team in the river soon to capture the two lost sharks.
