Antonio Vicente was playing soccer with his current club team Princeton FC U-18 team in a state game during a flight tournament in Fort Dix New Jersey. The Mexican had scored a stunning 30 yard out free kick that got the attention of a pro soccer scout. He was spotted by one of the scouts of the organization "Alianza de Futbol" which is a part of the Mexican League "Liga MX". The scout said that Antonio impressed him with the stunning free kick and afterwards scored an amazing solo goal from where he got the ball at half field , dribbled through everyone and placed the ball into the left hand corner where the keeper couldn't reach it. After the game the scout had a conversation with the soccer player and asked him what nationality he was, "Mexican" the player said and ended up taking his info down and scheduled a training session with the Mexican U-19 Soccer team. Antonio Vicente currently attends The Montgomery High School In Skillman New Jersey where he plays for the Varsity Soccer team and is currently a Sophomore. He plans on attending the school until the end of his Senior Year but is currently unsure if he will be playing with his high school soccer team next coming season. He mentioned that if anything happens he is very thankful with the coaching staff but in particular with the head coach "Rickey Steeb". "He has always believed in me and was the only coach to notice my hard work and effort even if he did bench me most of the time" Antonio mentioned. He also mentioned that playing for a profesional team has always been his dream and that he couldn't believe what was happening. "Ive always wanted to play profesional soccer but I never expected it to come so soon." - He said, mentioning afterwards what League he has always wanted to play for. " My dream has always been to play in the English Premier League. I have always thought that its one of the best and one of the hardest." We wished Antonio the best and told him we can't wait to see what he brings to the soccer field next summer. Antonio Vicente Bailon MHS '18 2/25/17

whale spotted in illinois river A humpback whale was spotted near Morris IL in the Illinois River today. The sighting comes just days after 2 Great White Sharks were seen frolicking in the same area. While not impossible, it does seem unlikely. It is thought that the whale may have followed the sharks as they sometimes do in the wild. The whale would of had to travel over 1250 miles to get to this location. The Marine Biologist Association will be in town for a full investigation. Until we have answers, we are asking folks to keep their pontoons and fishing boats docked.

two great white sharks found swimming in mississippi river near saint louis, missouri. While it is not entirely impossible, it is incredibly uncommon for salt water dwelling creatures to stay for lengthy periods of time in fresh water. However, two Great White Sharks have managed to survive the trip and make their way up the Mississippi River somehow. Believed to have started as a mating couple, the two are assumed to have swam the 920 mile journey from the mouth of the Mississippi River that is connected to the Gulf Of Mexico. Officials in Saint Louis have contacted the Missouri Conservation Department and will likely have a team in the river soon to capture the two lost sharks.
