Giovanni Canales, a Sophmore that attends Cranston High School East is now being looked at by the MLS. You may say that's impossible but believe this! John Morris (Head Coach for the Seattle Sounders FC) stated "We had a scout look at Canales after information from Boston University. His skills are fanominal at this age. But, we are not going to pick him up after high school so he can train with BU. Then we will see from there". We called Canales's High School Coach, Mr Grenier and he stated "Gio is an amazing goalie, I saw his potential when he first came in when he was a little freshman. Now as a Sophmore he grew bigger and stronger." Canales's 2016 soccer season was outstanding. He completed 162 saves with only 24 goals against. We also called Canales himself and he said "This is amazing, I always imagined playing high level soccer, but we are talking about college soccer and maybe pro. It's just a dream come true." Canales will graduate from East in the year 2019 and will be on his journey to greatness. The only thing probably stopping this journey, is Canales's success in Baseball as well. But he said "I love both sports, and if I had to choose I'll probably go with the one that I can see myself playing it at a high level in my future". With that being said goodluck to Giovanni Canales, and have a good high school season because college season is coming soon.

whale spotted in illinois river A humpback whale was spotted near Morris IL in the Illinois River today. The sighting comes just days after 2 Great White Sharks were seen frolicking in the same area. While not impossible, it does seem unlikely. It is thought that the whale may have followed the sharks as they sometimes do in the wild. The whale would of had to travel over 1250 miles to get to this location. The Marine Biologist Association will be in town for a full investigation. Until we have answers, we are asking folks to keep their pontoons and fishing boats docked.

two great white sharks found swimming in mississippi river near saint louis, missouri. While it is not entirely impossible, it is incredibly uncommon for salt water dwelling creatures to stay for lengthy periods of time in fresh water. However, two Great White Sharks have managed to survive the trip and make their way up the Mississippi River somehow. Believed to have started as a mating couple, the two are assumed to have swam the 920 mile journey from the mouth of the Mississippi River that is connected to the Gulf Of Mexico. Officials in Saint Louis have contacted the Missouri Conservation Department and will likely have a team in the river soon to capture the two lost sharks.
