In a recent turn of events a brilliant philosopher John Doe has discovered that money is no longer the motive! John Doe states, "Money is just this object, this piece of paper that we hold value to, it is pointless." Throughout this interview Doe tells us that really what we need to constantly be greedy over is knowledge.

"Money feels good to have, it buys you these things but in turn what do you get from these things? Nothing!" says Doe. It is a very interesting concept that may be hard to wrap ones mind around. We live in the 21st century where we live, breathe and produce money. Once you grow up that is one thing you never stop hearing about, how much it is, how much it will cost you, the prices are going up, there is a coupon that can make it cheaper.

Money, money, money. When you take that thought of the constant need for money what are we left to value? Relationships, bettering the quality of life, a deep intellect and self satisfaction. These are all things that we tend to neglect now, we put off our family or friends because we need to make money, we cannot focus on what makes us happy because we have to go to one of our three jobs to even afford a house.

The breakthrough that John Doe has had is a scary one, he tells us about his journey for the past year with no money. No money? How does one live... He explains it all in his book that is about to come into stores everywhere, talking about the people he encountered, the hardships of living without money but the internal satisfaction that he received. John finished our interview with a request, "One challenge I have for your readers is to minimize the need for money. Live with the bare minimum and see what other areas of your life improve." I have already started and the results are amazing!

whale spotted in illinois river A humpback whale was spotted near Morris IL in the Illinois River today. The sighting comes just days after 2 Great White Sharks were seen frolicking in the same area. While not impossible, it does seem unlikely. It is thought that the whale may have followed the sharks as they sometimes do in the wild. The whale would of had to travel over 1250 miles to get to this location. The Marine Biologist Association will be in town for a full investigation. Until we have answers, we are asking folks to keep their pontoons and fishing boats docked.

two great white sharks found swimming in mississippi river near saint louis, missouri. While it is not entirely impossible, it is incredibly uncommon for salt water dwelling creatures to stay for lengthy periods of time in fresh water. However, two Great White Sharks have managed to survive the trip and make their way up the Mississippi River somehow. Believed to have started as a mating couple, the two are assumed to have swam the 920 mile journey from the mouth of the Mississippi River that is connected to the Gulf Of Mexico. Officials in Saint Louis have contacted the Missouri Conservation Department and will likely have a team in the river soon to capture the two lost sharks.
