Actress Lacey Turner who plays one of the most loved characters on EastEnders, Stacey Fowler, has announced her departure from EastEnders...
As fans will know, Lacey (Stacey) hasn't been on the screens as much anymore and the reason for that is because Lacey Turner has been offered another job in an upcoming Netflix crime/thriller show. Lacey opened up to BBC One's "Friday Night Interviews" saying "yeah, I've been offered an awesome job for an upcoming Netflix kind of crime/thriller show that will be coming out in Autumn 2019" She then goes on to explain her reason for taking the job and leaving EastEnders. She says "I took this job because I've always wanted to be on a Netflix show you know, like I am a huge fan of the new shows that they've brought out recently, so I couldn't turn down this opportunity. The cast of EastEnders have been so supportive of my choice and are all super happy to watch it when it's released. I left the show to pursue new and exciting jobs, like this new Netflix show."
Lacey Turner also confirmed that she had already filmed her final scenes in EastEnders and they will air on December 31st (New Year's Eve). She also stated that before her departure from the show, there will be a massive Christmas blowup between the Slater/Branning family. She said "oh my goodness, you know I always love a good EastEnders Christmas. You know all the drama and explosiveness. This year the Christmas episode will be based on the Slater and Branning family. It's was such an incredible experience to film this years Christmas one because it felt like old times with the families. I can't say much but things to get revealed about Hayley's baby and that storyline and other things will happen which will cause the families to absolutely be destroyed and some characters will be left hanging on for their lives. So yeah"
Even though many fans are upset about the news of one of their favourite characters leaving, Lacey also teased a possible return to EastEnders. She said "I'm taking this time to work on new projects and you know experiment a bit. I've been on the show for 14 years now only taking a four year break from 2010-2014 you know, so it'll be nice working on something new and taking all the time off that I need. However, if EastEnders write me back in the show somehow, maybe sometime in the future, I'll most defiantly return. I won't be back on the show for at least 2 years. But we got a new boss Kate and she said she has massive plans to bring me back in a few years time, so let's see. But this is not the end of Stacey for sure. And before she leaves we've got a Christmas episode to get through, and that'll will 100 clear up why Stacey is leaving and this is like a start to a new storyline. So if I ever came back, which hopefully I will one day in the future, this new storyline that has been started, I could return to the square and you know start it all up again because it leaves the door wide open for Stacey."

whale spotted in illinois river A humpback whale was spotted near Morris IL in the Illinois River today. The sighting comes just days after 2 Great White Sharks were seen frolicking in the same area. While not impossible, it does seem unlikely. It is thought that the whale may have followed the sharks as they sometimes do in the wild. The whale would of had to travel over 1250 miles to get to this location. The Marine Biologist Association will be in town for a full investigation. Until we have answers, we are asking folks to keep their pontoons and fishing boats docked.

two great white sharks found swimming in mississippi river near saint louis, missouri. While it is not entirely impossible, it is incredibly uncommon for salt water dwelling creatures to stay for lengthy periods of time in fresh water. However, two Great White Sharks have managed to survive the trip and make their way up the Mississippi River somehow. Believed to have started as a mating couple, the two are assumed to have swam the 920 mile journey from the mouth of the Mississippi River that is connected to the Gulf Of Mexico. Officials in Saint Louis have contacted the Missouri Conservation Department and will likely have a team in the river soon to capture the two lost sharks.
