Libertarian Party UK win their first ever council elections in Wales, delivering a shocking blow to the Welsh Labour Party

The Libertarian Party may have only managed to win a small handful of council elections, but they have somehow managed to cause shockwaves yesterday, when the Labour-run election of Maesteg West decided to turn their backs on Labour and vote for the Libertarian Party UK.
In an interview with Wales Online, Connor said: "I am incredibly proud to have this amazing opportunity and will do whatever it takes to make Maesteg West and Maesteg Town great again, i become a Libertarian because freedom is something that i am incredibly proud of Maesteg West for voting new, Labour and independents have been a huge disappointment"
This is undoubtedly one of the biggest shocks delivered to Labour, with the votes tallying to:
Welsh Labour - 130 votes
Conservatives - 94 votes
Lib-Dem - 81 votes
Libertarian Party - 440 votes
When asked questions by Wales Online political editor Matthew Davidson on how someone with no experience managed to win, he responded "I don't think that you need any political experience, Trump hasn't and he is currently doing an amazing job at running the country"

whale spotted in illinois river A humpback whale was spotted near Morris IL in the Illinois River today. The sighting comes just days after 2 Great White Sharks were seen frolicking in the same area. While not impossible, it does seem unlikely. It is thought that the whale may have followed the sharks as they sometimes do in the wild. The whale would of had to travel over 1250 miles to get to this location. The Marine Biologist Association will be in town for a full investigation. Until we have answers, we are asking folks to keep their pontoons and fishing boats docked.

While it is not entirely impossible, it is incredibly uncommon for salt water dwelling creatures to stay for lengthy periods of time in fresh water. However, two Great White Sharks have managed to survive the trip and make their way up the Mississippi River somehow. Believed to have started as a mating couple, the two are assumed to have swam the 920 mile journey from the mouth of the Mississippi River that is connected to the Gulf Of Mexico. Officials in Saint Louis have contacted the Missouri Conservation Department and will likely have a team in the river soon to capture the two lost sharks.
