Nintendo announces a live action Splatoon movie is in the works

Following the latest craze in video game movies behind Pokémon with Detective Pikachu and SEGA with Sonic the Hedgehog is Nintendo with their wildly popular third-person shooter series Splatoon. Originally released on May 15th, 2015 for the Wii U, with a sequel being released on the Nintendo Switch on July 21st, 2017. In this series, we follow the adventures of the characters known as Inklings, anthropomorphic squids that can swap between Humanoids and Cephalopod forms at will that can hide in puddles of ink made by thier specialized weapons.
For this project, Nintendo is teaming up with Warner Bros. Studios in order to bring us a story of the fresh squid kids from Inkopolis. It’s too early to know what plot it would have, but it most likely would follow the story of the game’s, with some elements lifted from the manga series.
In an interview with game series’ executive producer, Hisashi Nogami, he stated that “The movie is going to be live action with CGI elements, such as the tentacles, the heads, and the squid forms.” No official date for release has been confirmed, but it is calculated to be finished by Christmas of next year. whale spotted in illinois river A humpback whale was spotted near Morris IL in the Illinois River today. The sighting comes just days after 2 Great White Sharks were seen frolicking in the same area. While not impossible, it does seem unlikely. It is thought that the whale may have followed the sharks as they sometimes do in the wild. The whale would of had to travel over 1250 miles to get to this location. The Marine Biologist Association will be in town for a full investigation. Until we have answers, we are asking folks to keep their pontoons and fishing boats docked.

two great white sharks found swimming in mississippi river near saint louis, missouri. While it is not entirely impossible, it is incredibly uncommon for salt water dwelling creatures to stay for lengthy periods of time in fresh water. However, two Great White Sharks have managed to survive the trip and make their way up the Mississippi River somehow. Believed to have started as a mating couple, the two are assumed to have swam the 920 mile journey from the mouth of the Mississippi River that is connected to the Gulf Of Mexico. Officials in Saint Louis have contacted the Missouri Conservation Department and will likely have a team in the river soon to capture the two lost sharks.
