McDonalds could be facing a major legal suit as human fecal matter was found in hamburger mix in one of their restaurants just outside of Lawrence, KS. As reported early last week, customers had complained about stomach viruses shortly after visiting the McDonalds restaurant on the Northeast 71st Street in Pleasant Grove, KS. A family of five visited the establishment on Sunday last week. Four of the family members had some sort of burger while one of the children had chicken nuggets. "All four of us were sick within 24 hours of eating there. My youngest had the McNuggets and did not get it." Stephanie Randall stated. The department of health were called in Wednesday morning to run tests on the defective meat. "We ran the meat through multiple tests and the results were quite disturbing." Department of Health director Gerald Amerson reports. "There were high levels of human feces found in almost every section of meat we tested." The restaurant has since been closed indefinitely while other McDonalds restaurants are being tested for similar contamination. Distribution could have reached as far as Wichita to the East and Olathe to the West. There has not been another report of contamination at this time.

whale spotted in illinois river A humpback whale was spotted near Morris IL in the Illinois River today. The sighting comes just days after 2 Great White Sharks were seen frolicking in the same area. While not impossible, it does seem unlikely. It is thought that the whale may have followed the sharks as they sometimes do in the wild. The whale would of had to travel over 1250 miles to get to this location. The Marine Biologist Association will be in town for a full investigation. Until we have answers, we are asking folks to keep their pontoons and fishing boats docked.

While it is not entirely impossible, it is incredibly uncommon for salt water dwelling creatures to stay for lengthy periods of time in fresh water. However, two Great White Sharks have managed to survive the trip and make their way up the Mississippi River somehow. Believed to have started as a mating couple, the two are assumed to have swam the 920 mile journey from the mouth of the Mississippi River that is connected to the Gulf Of Mexico. Officials in Saint Louis have contacted the Missouri Conservation Department and will likely have a team in the river soon to capture the two lost sharks.
