Nearly seven million people have viewed a Facebook live video of police officers breaking the car window and pointing guns at a couple from Queens, NY, who refused to hand over identification during a traffic stop on a major intersection.

Kisha Pendleton-Tyson was driving on Springfield Boulevard doing 25 in Queens when she was stopped by a police officer for failure to maintain a lane. As the video begins, the police officer—talking through a small slit on the passenger side—asks for identification when he is interrupted by the male passenger.

“You don’t need to see anything,” Daniel Tyson, the male passenger, interjects. “I’m a traveler, not a driver.” Tyson continues to look through his wallet as he talks to the officer.

“I understand you’re not a driver,” retorts the officer. “I’m talking to the female driver.”

Tyson responds: “She’s a traveler, too! She doesn’t need any identification!”

Tyson, apparently having found what he was searching for in his wallet, begins to read a passage from a card explaining why neither he nor the passenger is required to show a license. As he explains why “a driver’s license is a privilege,” the officer calmly explains that he still needs to see her driver’s license. Tyson replies, “No, you don’t!"

Trouble then begins to arise and Tyson begins to get more irate with officers, while Kisha remains quiet while still making the live video. The passenger, Tyson, also shouts out that he had made an oath to the constitution and that he did not have to provide identification.

Officers claimed he was getting more aggressive and was screaming and started swinging his arms at one officer. The officer decided to ask him to step out the car and Tyson did not comply and then a fight had occurred. Tyson had left both officers brutally beaten. The couple tried to flea, but one of the officers called for back up prior to the fight. The couple was then arrested.

whale spotted in illinois river A humpback whale was spotted near Morris IL in the Illinois River today. The sighting comes just days after 2 Great White Sharks were seen frolicking in the same area. While not impossible, it does seem unlikely. It is thought that the whale may have followed the sharks as they sometimes do in the wild. The whale would of had to travel over 1250 miles to get to this location. The Marine Biologist Association will be in town for a full investigation. Until we have answers, we are asking folks to keep their pontoons and fishing boats docked.

two great white sharks found swimming in mississippi river near saint louis, missouri. While it is not entirely impossible, it is incredibly uncommon for salt water dwelling creatures to stay for lengthy periods of time in fresh water. However, two Great White Sharks have managed to survive the trip and make their way up the Mississippi River somehow. Believed to have started as a mating couple, the two are assumed to have swam the 920 mile journey from the mouth of the Mississippi River that is connected to the Gulf Of Mexico. Officials in Saint Louis have contacted the Missouri Conservation Department and will likely have a team in the river soon to capture the two lost sharks.
