The self-proclaimed flagship football club of the region, Team East Jutland, is facing a time of turmoil after one of the team's best players, Peter Christensen, made a Facebook update, where he spoke his mind about the organisational and coaching setup at the club.

Every time we sign into our Facebook account, we are met by the question, what’s on your mind? It is not often that I have something ground breaking on my mind and when I do, I always think twice before I make my Facebook post, especially if it related to something critical or involves other people. Maybe the star player and captain of Team East Jutland, Peter Christensen, should have been taught this little social media post lesson, because after a critical post on Facebook, himself and his club could be facing a huge issue that could affect the club and its stakeholders.

The Facebook post was written in the middle of the night, following a heavy home game loss for Team East Jutland, when their biggest rivals came to East Jutland and beat them 0-3. The post was already removed the following morning but East Jutland News received a screen dump of the post by an anonymous source. In this screen dump of Peter Christensen’s Facebook update it clearly shows that he wrote, "Tired of being in such a great football team where it is the people behind the scenes and not us, who are standing in the way of making Team East Jutland the best club in Denmark". This was followed by the hashtags TeamEastJutland PrideofEasternJutland PoorManagementGreatPlayers Sufferingafterloss, to stress his feelings in an even more direct way and make it even clearer, that he is not happy with the way the club is functioning outside the football field.

Why Peter Christensen made this critical late night Facebook post is hard to predict. Was it a combination of being frustrated over the home game loss and a bit of Saturday night alcohol? Was it a bad excuse for the loss? Or was it to give the club a glimpse of what is really happening inside the walls of the club? No matter what, it seems like something is rotten in the state of Denmark, as Shakespeare wrote, or at least in Team East Jutland. However, we can only make guesses about what it is that is rotten in this football club.

What makes this issue even more delicate for the club is that Peter Christensen's two uncles are central persons in the business community that is a big part of the funding of the club, so we can all just guess if this will have an influence on the club's setup, or Peter Christensen’s future at the club. On that issue, we are still waiting for a response from Team East Jutland. We have contacted them several times, but they are not willing to address the press before later in the week. Until then, we can all just keep guessing what is going to happen at the club and if they ever will become one of the best football clubs in Denmark? No matter what a part of the actions at the club should be to tell their players to make think twice before they answer the Facebook question, what’s on your mind?

We at East Jutland News will of course keep you updated on this story.

whale spotted in illinois river A humpback whale was spotted near Morris IL in the Illinois River today. The sighting comes just days after 2 Great White Sharks were seen frolicking in the same area. While not impossible, it does seem unlikely. It is thought that the whale may have followed the sharks as they sometimes do in the wild. The whale would of had to travel over 1250 miles to get to this location. The Marine Biologist Association will be in town for a full investigation. Until we have answers, we are asking folks to keep their pontoons and fishing boats docked.

two great white sharks found swimming in mississippi river near saint louis, missouri. While it is not entirely impossible, it is incredibly uncommon for salt water dwelling creatures to stay for lengthy periods of time in fresh water. However, two Great White Sharks have managed to survive the trip and make their way up the Mississippi River somehow. Believed to have started as a mating couple, the two are assumed to have swam the 920 mile journey from the mouth of the Mississippi River that is connected to the Gulf Of Mexico. Officials in Saint Louis have contacted the Missouri Conservation Department and will likely have a team in the river soon to capture the two lost sharks.
