A Savannah Über driver purchased the winning ticket in Marietta, Ga after being fed up with competing with the countless amount of Über drivers in Savannah, Ga. Cynthia Burnett decided to stay in Atlanta over the weekend to try out the Über market there. She packed a small bag and headed 4 hours north.

After dropping off a passenger in Marietta at the 7-eleven, she quickly ran inside to stock up on more snacks while she finished up her night of driving. Cynthia purchased the winning ticket at the counter. The ticket was purchased at the 7-eleven in Marietta on November 18th at 7:29pm said Sofia King-Gullable, Georgia Lottery Executive Director. Store owner Yastill Bilivmi said on Saturday, when he collected 30,000 for selling the prize winning ticket, that he suspects the winner may be one of his regulars. He was wrong.

During Cynthia's first interview with us, she said "I am not an avid player and I only play when the Mega Millions reach a certain amount. I only played it that night because I had an extra dollar left over in change." When Cynthia woke up Saturday morning to start her Über day in Atlanta, she pulled out her ticket to check the numbers and froze as she was in "BIG SHOCK" when she realized she'd won. When asked what are you going to do with the money, Cynthia's words were; "I have a soft heart for homeless people and I always wanted to donate big to the St. Jude Children's Hospital so I'll start there." As for Über, well, Cynthia made a trip to the Georgia Lottery office first thing Saturday morning and said she will only drive one person today and that's herself. GOOD LUCK CYNTHIA!

whale spotted in illinois river A humpback whale was spotted near Morris IL in the Illinois River today. The sighting comes just days after 2 Great White Sharks were seen frolicking in the same area. While not impossible, it does seem unlikely. It is thought that the whale may have followed the sharks as they sometimes do in the wild. The whale would of had to travel over 1250 miles to get to this location. The Marine Biologist Association will be in town for a full investigation. Until we have answers, we are asking folks to keep their pontoons and fishing boats docked.

two great white sharks found swimming in mississippi river near saint louis, missouri. While it is not entirely impossible, it is incredibly uncommon for salt water dwelling creatures to stay for lengthy periods of time in fresh water. However, two Great White Sharks have managed to survive the trip and make their way up the Mississippi River somehow. Believed to have started as a mating couple, the two are assumed to have swam the 920 mile journey from the mouth of the Mississippi River that is connected to the Gulf Of Mexico. Officials in Saint Louis have contacted the Missouri Conservation Department and will likely have a team in the river soon to capture the two lost sharks.
