A husband and wife duo, who wish to remain un-named, from the crime and communist infested state of California have found their way to the safety of Arkansas.

"It is just out of control out there! We had to get out while we still could." The wife answered when asked why they moved. The husband, who asked not to be photographed, added, "They are going to release violent criminals and take away our ability to defend ourselves. Everything is illegal out there. You can't wash your car, get a plastic bag for your groceries, buy ammunition, give your Grandfather's rifle to your kids, and may the good lord help you if you give a hunting buddy a cartridge if he runs out. The stupid gun laws are the main reason I wanted to leave. That and they fact that unless a criminal steals more than $1000.00, it is catch and release. They just take their photo and let them go."

Both agreed Arkansas is much more conservative than California and they consider that a plus. The number of people voting for a living in California far outnumber those who actually work for a living was a shared view of this couple.

This reporter has found other families with very similar views in recent weeks and it seems to be a trend. Reports that Governor Brown may close the boarders to those relocating from California and only allowing them to exit after paying an exit fee may change all this in the future, but for now there seems to be a steady stream of refugees fleeing California for political reasons.

whale spotted in illinois river A humpback whale was spotted near Morris IL in the Illinois River today. The sighting comes just days after 2 Great White Sharks were seen frolicking in the same area. While not impossible, it does seem unlikely. It is thought that the whale may have followed the sharks as they sometimes do in the wild. The whale would of had to travel over 1250 miles to get to this location. The Marine Biologist Association will be in town for a full investigation. Until we have answers, we are asking folks to keep their pontoons and fishing boats docked.

two great white sharks found swimming in mississippi river near saint louis, missouri. While it is not entirely impossible, it is incredibly uncommon for salt water dwelling creatures to stay for lengthy periods of time in fresh water. However, two Great White Sharks have managed to survive the trip and make their way up the Mississippi River somehow. Believed to have started as a mating couple, the two are assumed to have swam the 920 mile journey from the mouth of the Mississippi River that is connected to the Gulf Of Mexico. Officials in Saint Louis have contacted the Missouri Conservation Department and will likely have a team in the river soon to capture the two lost sharks.
