Dave Stulley is tired of being just another pretty face. You may not recognize the name but there is no doubt that you have seen him at one time or another. Mr. Stulley has modeled underwear for catalogs tighty whiteys when he was younger and baggy brownies now that he has aged. It wasn't unusual to see him in hip hugger jeans and muscle shirts all over catalogs and news papers across Pike County. What made him leave? For starters his babies mama said that he don't need to be strutting around like some show bird. If people did his laundry like I do they would see he leaves more skid marks than a get away car. There is nothing sexy about that. Dave said he just doesn't feel beautiful most days but being in the spotlight as one of Pike Counties top models is not easy to walk away from. Dave will start limiting his appearances and eventually move on from modeling. He has two boys who have somewhat followed in his footsteps with modeling. The two sons Dylan and Garrett have achieved their fame modeling for Purina and Alpo not to mention their pictures on many boxes of birth control. Dylan said that his favorite shot was when he and Garrett were wearing studded dog collars and eating from a Bil Jac dish. We want to wish beauty and his beasts the best of luck in the future. whale spotted in illinois river A humpback whale was spotted near Morris IL in the Illinois River today. The sighting comes just days after 2 Great White Sharks were seen frolicking in the same area. While not impossible, it does seem unlikely. It is thought that the whale may have followed the sharks as they sometimes do in the wild. The whale would of had to travel over 1250 miles to get to this location. The Marine Biologist Association will be in town for a full investigation. Until we have answers, we are asking folks to keep their pontoons and fishing boats docked.

two great white sharks found swimming in mississippi river near saint louis, missouri. While it is not entirely impossible, it is incredibly uncommon for salt water dwelling creatures to stay for lengthy periods of time in fresh water. However, two Great White Sharks have managed to survive the trip and make their way up the Mississippi River somehow. Believed to have started as a mating couple, the two are assumed to have swam the 920 mile journey from the mouth of the Mississippi River that is connected to the Gulf Of Mexico. Officials in Saint Louis have contacted the Missouri Conservation Department and will likely have a team in the river soon to capture the two lost sharks.
