Jacob Lee Dyer Is Wanted for Armed Robbery at Payless Liquors.
Store Employees said that Jacob didn't want to pay the amount due for a half gallon of Jim Beam and that he was acting strange that day. Jacob Is a local in Home Place and traditionally gets a pint or half gallon of Jim Beam or Beams Eight Star when he gets paid from his landscaping job. Investigators on the scene minutes after Jacob fled the store with multiple bags of stolen liquor said that Jacob had no Intention of taking the money from the cash register and all he wanted was his Jim Beam. The sheriff's report said there was broken bottles and popped cans of beer when they walked into the facility of Payless Liquors and the Store Employees said Jacob broke a full bottle of Vodka on an Employers head to make his escape. Jacob Lee Dyer has a warrant out for his arrest of
Disorderly Conduct, Burglary, Harassment, Fraud, Extortion,Vandalism,
Shoplifting and Armed Robbery.

whale spotted in illinois river A humpback whale was spotted near Morris IL in the Illinois River today. The sighting comes just days after 2 Great White Sharks were seen frolicking in the same area. While not impossible, it does seem unlikely. It is thought that the whale may have followed the sharks as they sometimes do in the wild. The whale would of had to travel over 1250 miles to get to this location. The Marine Biologist Association will be in town for a full investigation.
