Scientists have discovered an earth cavity that reaches far deeper than any previous such discovery; all the way to Earth's outer core.
In the desert area west of the Euphrates River, near Ga-Sur at Nuzi Yorghan Tepe, close to the towns of Harran and Kirkuk, (approximately 200 miles (322 km) north of the site of Babylon) archeologists confirmed the discovery after children exploring in the area following the areas annual shamal (hot, dry, prevailing wind of summer) found a deep depression in the desert sand. The depression appeared to be sucking surrounding sand into it's vortex.

The children reported this phenomenon to their village elders, who, upon verifying the existence of this crater, immediately called the authorities. A team of Archeologists and Physical geographers were dispatched to the area. As the cavity's depth grew, faint sounds were heard, like voices screaming in torture. Using seismographs and other highly sensitive measuring instruments designed to amplify sound, it was confirmed these were the sounds of human voices in pain.

Bible Scholars and Creation Scientists from around the globe have converged on the site. However they are being very careful as to any explanations they are offering. Few wish to say more at this time, except for Dr. Joseph M. Gingrich, P.G. who said, "We are looking carefully into this matter and will keep the public informed as we learn more. This is very important to humankind and should not be treated as a laughing matter."

whale spotted in illinois river A humpback whale was spotted near Morris IL in the Illinois River today. The sighting comes just days after 2 Great White Sharks were seen frolicking in the same area. While not impossible, it does seem unlikely. It is thought that the whale may have followed the sharks as they sometimes do in the wild. The whale would of had to travel over 1250 miles to get to this location. The Marine Biologist Association will be in town for a full investigation. Until we have answers, we are asking folks to keep their pontoons and fishing boats docked.

two great white sharks found swimming in mississippi river near saint louis, missouri. While it is not entirely impossible, it is incredibly uncommon for salt water dwelling creatures to stay for lengthy periods of time in fresh water. However, two Great White Sharks have managed to survive the trip and make their way up the Mississippi River somehow. Believed to have started as a mating couple, the two are assumed to have swam the 920 mile journey from the mouth of the Mississippi River that is connected to the Gulf Of Mexico. Officials in Saint Louis have contacted the Missouri Conservation Department and will likely have a team in the river soon to capture the two lost sharks.
