In the early morning hours of January 23, 2018 a group of English students came across what appeared to be a pile of leaves on the campus grass. Upon closer examination the students realized the pile of leaves was moving ever so slightly up and down. As each student looked at the other for conformation of what they were seeing the pile suddenly vanished.
The students with wonder in their minds and giggles of relief continued walking toward class. As they were approaching the building another pile of leaves manifested with an ever so slight breathing simulation, as told by one of the students in the English class. They once again etched closer this time a little braver and curious. As the students from English 102 got up to the leaves they could detect a faint sound coming from the pile. Stretching their ears to listen, one student said it sounds like our English Professor. Everyone of course looking at each other with the same questioning look volunteered one brave student to look under the pile. He stepped closer one inch at a time until he was hovering above the pile of leaves. As he bent down to grab a leaf he caught a glimpse of a long alien like finger and jumped back with a yell!! And poof the pile was just a pile of leaves.
All the students were asking what he seen and he exclaimed "An Alien Finger"! The whole class starting rolling with laughter and everyone made their way to class. Upon entering the class room everyone was still giggling and poking fun at the young man, but once everyone sat down in their seats and the Professor started to speak they all gasped, She had leaves in her hair, the same leaves they had just seen. With fear and wonder in their eyes each student looked at the other for confirmation of what they were seeing and as each student nodded they tried to compose themselves for the rest of class. And as the Professor walked around the class to hand papers to each student she approached the young mans desk and said nice work and when she handed him his paper her alien finger touched his and he fell out of his chair. The student quickly jumped back up and played it off as if he had just slipped from his chair, but the teacher gave a angled stare.
After class the students all met in the hall to discuss what they had seen and made plans to investigate. They followed the Professor after class to her car and as they turned the corner everyone's mouths dropped open in shock, her car was a space ship and she had just flown off.

whale spotted in illinois river A humpback whale was spotted near Morris IL in the Illinois River today. The sighting comes just days after 2 Great White Sharks were seen frolicking in the same area. While not impossible, it does seem unlikely. It is thought that the whale may have followed the sharks as they sometimes do in the wild. The whale would of had to travel over 1250 miles to get to this location. The Marine Biologist Association will be in town for a full investigation. Until we have answers, we are asking folks to keep their pontoons and fishing boats docked.

two great white sharks found swimming in mississippi river near saint louis, missouri. While it is not entirely impossible, it is incredibly uncommon for salt water dwelling creatures to stay for lengthy periods of time in fresh water. However, two Great White Sharks have managed to survive the trip and make their way up the Mississippi River somehow. Believed to have started as a mating couple, the two are assumed to have swam the 920 mile journey from the mouth of the Mississippi River that is connected to the Gulf Of Mexico. Officials in Saint Louis have contacted the Missouri Conservation Department and will likely have a team in the river soon to capture the two lost sharks.
