A sad day for all wannabe lifters. 17 year old Luis Moreno, who goes by the name "Jose Lopez" on Facebook, is hospitalized after an extreme gym accident. Moreno was reportedly trying to "deadlift" 415 lbs, after seeing his boy Cesar Mediano do the same with ease. According to witnesse Alexis Gonzalez and Joshua Ochoa, fellow gym-goers and friends of Moreno's, they witnessed the gruesome accident first hand.
"My boy seen Cesar's swole ass lift that 415 (lbs) like it wasn't shit, no belt or nothing, not even some pre workout. So he tried copying him. Shit was heavy as fuck tho, me and my boy Joshua had to spot him. He lifted it like, max two inches and he just said 'I can't' and that's when his arms just ripped off." According to Ochoa, avid lifter and "professional little bitch", Moreno's downfall was his over confidence. "Nah that nigga fucked up. He tried doing all this shit and he didn't even have flat shoes on a flat surface, the most important thing. When I seen his arms, I told him 'You fucked up'" Moreno is currently awaiting arm transplants, since his own were too weak and scrawny to replace. His friends and family are currently trying to raise funds to find the arms of Harambe, the late silverback gorilla, and attach them to Luis, so he can finally achieve his goal of deadlifting 415 pounds with ease. whale spotted in illinois river A humpback whale was spotted near Morris IL in the Illinois River today. The sighting comes just days after 2 Great White Sharks were seen frolicking in the same area. While not impossible, it does seem unlikely. It is thought that the whale may have followed the sharks as they sometimes do in the wild. The whale would of had to travel over 1250 miles to get to this location. The Marine Biologist Association will be in town for a full investigation. Until we have answers, we are asking folks to keep their pontoons and fishing boats docked.

two great white sharks found swimming in mississippi river near saint louis, missouri. While it is not entirely impossible, it is incredibly uncommon for salt water dwelling creatures to stay for lengthy periods of time in fresh water. However, two Great White Sharks have managed to survive the trip and make their way up the Mississippi River somehow. Believed to have started as a mating couple, the two are assumed to have swam the 920 mile journey from the mouth of the Mississippi River that is connected to the Gulf Of Mexico. Officials in Saint Louis have contacted the Missouri Conservation Department and will likely have a team in the river soon to capture the two lost sharks.
