23 year old Annalise Dimoan of Apple Valley, Minnesota is facing a 30 year sentence for the brutal torture of a man she met on Plenty Of Fish - a popular dating site. She is pleading guilty to the charges. According to Dimoan, he "lied about his meat", and stated she was sick and tired of being lied to. She went on, "I slipped a couple ruffies," (also known as, Rohypnol, the date-rape drug). "into the juice I offered him, after we had sex." And when this man, (whose identity will remain confidential), fell asleep, she allegedly duct taped him to his dining room chair, cut out his tongue, and began sewing his lips together. Apparently, Dimoan caused quite a commotion getting the heavier-set man off of the couch and into the chair. "I was getting really frustrated. I started swearing at him, and myself, calling him a 'fat fuck', 'lying little bitch', and 'peanut dick'. It was about 2 in the morning. I guess I woke the neighbors up with it.", Dimoan stated. The neighbors downstairs from the victim indeed heard something going on above. Thinking it was just the victim being loud with his lover, they called the police to complain about the noise. When police arrived, Dimoan answered the door covered in blood and surrendered. The victim, half conscious was rushed to the emergency room to recover, but will never be able to talk again.

whale spotted in illinois river A humpback whale was spotted near Morris IL in the Illinois River today. The sighting comes just days after 2 Great White Sharks were seen frolicking in the same area. While not impossible, it does seem unlikely. It is thought that the whale may have followed the sharks as they sometimes do in the wild. The whale would of had to travel over 1250 miles to get to this location. The Marine Biologist Association will be in town for a full investigation. Until we have answers, we are asking folks to keep their pontoons and fishing boats docked.

two great white sharks found swimming in mississippi river near saint louis, missouri. While it is not entirely impossible, it is incredibly uncommon for salt water dwelling creatures to stay for lengthy periods of time in fresh water. However, two Great White Sharks have managed to survive the trip and make their way up the Mississippi River somehow. Believed to have started as a mating couple, the two are assumed to have swam the 920 mile journey from the mouth of the Mississippi River that is connected to the Gulf Of Mexico. Officials in Saint Louis have contacted the Missouri Conservation Department and will likely have a team in the river soon to capture the two lost sharks.
